This Reclaim Your Energy Meditation is a grounding, restorative practice designed to help you gently call your energy back to yourself after giving it away—intentionally or unintentionally—throughout the day. Through breath, visualization, and intentional awareness, you’re guided to retrieve your energy from people, conversations, places, and timelines, allowing it to return to your heart and body with ease. Rather than cutting connections, this meditation honors our interconnectedness while restoring balance, clarity, and personal power, leaving you feeling centered, replenished, and deeply at home within yourself.

Welcome to this guided meditation to reclaim your energy,
Where you will be able to visualize taking back all of the energy you have given out to others throughout the day,
Whether intentional or not.
We will take it back from friends,
Family,
Co-workers,
And even strangers.
But the important thing to remember is that taking your energy back does not mean you are taking away love for this person.
It does not place you in a mindset of lack.
It does quite the opposite actually.
It gives you the energy back to love this person to your fullest potential and allows opportunities for growth and expansion in all areas of your life.
This energy is yours and you deserve to keep it with you.
Now sometimes people like to visualize this as a cord-cutting exercise,
Meaning they envision cords connected to all the people they have interacted with throughout the day and they visualize that cord being cut between them.
However,
I don't really like to think of it this way because I truly believe we are all interconnected beings on this universe,
And instead I like to visualize those cords still being connected and extended out to others in an intricate web.
But there are energies and frequencies vibrating across these cords,
And sometimes those energies are only going in one direction,
Away from you.
So instead of cutting a cord,
I like to think of it as watching those vibrations,
Those energies along the cord,
Reverse,
Change direction,
And get pulled back to you.
However,
If you'd rather visualize it as a cord-cutting exercise,
Absolutely,
Do what makes you feel more comfortable.
So let's get started.
Let's do this exercise sitting up in a comfortable chair.
Take a second to get a little more comfortable.
If possible,
Make any small adjustments needed until you feel content.
Put your feet flat on the ground.
Feel your pelvis,
Your sits bone,
On the chair.
Feel its connection to your thighs,
To your knees,
To your shins,
To your ankles,
And down to your feet.
Next,
Recognize the sturdiness of this structure supporting you.
You feel planted into that structure,
And each foot is positioned directly below you on the floor,
Holding you up.
You can feel into this power by gently moving back and forth,
Side to side,
To recognize that the pelvis,
Your legs,
And feet are a very sturdy structure that operates on its own.
You don't need to do much to become aware of how the body holds you.
Begin to settle into your body now.
Drop your shoulders.
Your spine finds a place of relaxation and begins to release tension.
Feel that relaxation run down your back into the sturdy connection with the earth.
The relaxation spreads up your back now,
Around your neck,
Into your arms,
Around your jaw,
Around the corners of your eyes,
And across your forehead.
There is an awareness that you are firmly grounded and steadily held down by a natural anchor point.
There is a part of you that can feel the gravitational pull towards the earth.
Begin to visualize that pull towards the earth as a cord,
Or a beam of light,
Or roots,
Or just feel into that pull without a need for you to create it.
Let your entire body relax into that pull.
Notice that in the relaxation,
The breath slows down,
Finding deeper,
Longer breaths into the chest cavity,
And opening and expanding across your chest and around to your back,
Expanding your lungs.
Become very aware that you can create a breathing circle or a loop that begins and ends in the heart space.
Allow that breath to fill the heart and soften the edges of your heart,
Soften your lungs,
Soften your ribcage,
Soften the sensation in your chest.
Every breath in brings in comfort and peace,
And every exhale releases and relaxes any tension built up in your chest.
With your breath,
You will start to identify a sense of home and a deep connection to the spirit part of you.
Knowing that with every breath in,
You make some space for that spirit,
That part of you that has always been there,
Has always existed inside of you,
Invite them to take up a little more room in your body.
The breath is easy and soft and relaxed.
All thoughts that enter just sink and melt down the back of your spine and into your chair.
All awareness is on the breath and for the spirit part of you to rise to the front.
That spirit grows a little larger with every steady breath,
And it's within this space of the heart that we know we hold personal power and personal energy.
It's within this space that you will be calling back your own energy to self.
Purely energy,
Purely yours,
That comes back with the easiest pull of just simple intention.
All that's needed is intention and the breath will be your guide.
Finding that breath now,
Feeling it fill the chest,
Knowing that this is your intention point where you will return all your energy and where you will stay connected.
Now,
Place your intention on someone very close to you,
In that first ring of people.
Maybe it's a family member,
Someone you spend a lot of your time with and you are very close to.
This will be the first person you will pull your energy back from.
You can think their name or see their face or just have an awareness of their presence.
Visualize that connection between the two of you.
Now imagine all the energies that were going in their direction today.
All of your energy going to them,
Worrying about them,
Checking in on them,
Perhaps scheduling appointments for them.
All energy that you directed towards them today,
Visualize that as frequencies on your connection point,
Leaving your body and going towards them.
And now in a very easy sweep,
You intend that all energy no longer useful,
Unintended energy just floating towards them,
Begins to reverse and comes back to you.
All energy that is yours comes back instantly and easily to you.
Imagine that energy lands back in your body in the heart space with a deep inhale.
When you are ready,
Move to another person very close to you,
Perhaps another family member or someone else in that first ring of friends,
And knowing that intention is all you need,
Visualize pulling all energy back to self,
Letting it land in the heart space,
Watching that energy take up more space in your chest cavity.
If you notice it's slightly difficult to pull this energy back,
Don't judge it,
Just take a deep breath and try again.
In a gentle,
Easy sweep,
Pull that energy back to you,
It is yours.
Now,
Bringing to mind a third person with whom you devote a lot of energy to,
With intention start to pull back any and all energy that belongs to self.
Notice those energies reverse and come back to you,
Landing softly in the heart.
One more time,
Pull that energy back and with a deep inhale,
Land all of that energy back in your heart.
We can also pull back energy from a collective,
A group.
So without needing to know specific people or who and where they stand in this group,
Think of a very close group of friends or your family as a whole and start to pull back all energy given intentionally or unintentionally that no longer serves a purpose.
Pull back from this group at large,
Reversing the frequencies of the day and pulling back easily and swiftly into your heart space,
Letting it land with a deep inhale.
Moving forward now into a person that is a little more removed in your life,
We're on that second ring of people now,
Perhaps coworkers or friends,
Bring to mind one specific person and with deliberate intention,
Pull back all energy given that no longer serves,
Pull it back now.
Feel that energy fill your chest cavity.
Move on to a second person,
Friend or colleague and pull back that energy now that no longer serves,
Energy that is yours and unused,
Take it back,
Take it back to self.
Now spreading that circle a little wider,
Any acquaintances that you place into a group now,
Perhaps you know the names,
Perhaps you don't,
Start to call back the energy that is yours all at once,
Back to self,
Letting it land in the chest cavity.
Perhaps one more time doing a large sweep over the whole group,
Pull that energy back to self now,
Letting it land in the chest cavity with a deep inhale.
Now let's move forward to any conversation that you've had that still carries any energetic charge,
Pull all of your energy back all at once,
No need to know where it comes from or how it got there,
You pull it back from any person you've been in contact with or conversation with,
Close or far,
Knowing their name or not,
Intention is all you need,
Begin to pull it back now.
Now pull it back from any places you've been physically or mentally in the past,
Pull it back to the present and let it land in the heart,
Again intention is all you need.
One more time,
All and any energy that exists in the past that belongs to you,
Pull it back into the present,
Into your heart.
Now start to pull back any energy that exists in the future,
Planning,
Scheming,
Worrying,
Any energy that exists from you in the future,
Pull it back to self in this present moment.
One final sweep,
Any energy of yours that exists outside of you from people,
Places,
Events or timelines,
Feel the breath and bring that energy back to the center of your chest with a deep inhale,
Let it land.
Now that we have reclaimed our energy,
Now it's time to repurpose it,
So begin to focus all awareness and intention back on the breath,
And let all energy collect and move to where it is needed within your body,
Your soul,
Your mind,
Not dictating where it goes,
Just allow it to flow.
Your intention is on your breath,
Fully surrender how the energy needs to move within you,
Just know that it is going where it is needed.
Any thoughts that come in,
Continue to melt them down the back,
And intention is on the breath,
Focus on long slow breaths as the energy continues to move,
Become aware once again of the pull of gravity,
Of the sturdiness of the vessel that you've created.
Now recognize anything that you've held onto,
Any energies that you are holding onto now that are not yours,
And notice them getting pulled away from you now.
The gravity pulls that energy to the center of Earth's core.
When this energy that is not yours leaves your body,
It is letting your own energy that you've just recalled take up that space,
So with every inhale,
Your energy circulates and takes up more space,
And with every exhale,
Anything that is not yours gets magnetically pulled down away from you towards the center of Earth's core.
Imagine it getting pulled down that cord,
Down the roots,
Away from self,
Knowing that intention is all you need.
Feeling the sturdiness of your body,
Take a moment to become aware of any changes,
Acknowledging your power of bringing back your own energy source.
Know that you can return to this over and over again.
Take a moment to bring awareness as to where energy may have been difficult to pull back,
Or perhaps where a lot of energy easily flowed back.
No need to make it right or wrong,
Just have an awareness of it.
When you're ready,
Bring a slight movement to your body,
A return to the physical sensation of your body in the here and now,
And slowly open your eyes.
Now I want you to take a minute or two to write down what you felt and experienced,
Any reflections you have coming back from that.
I hope this brings you more clarity and energy for a purposeful day and a good night's sleep.
