Hello and welcome to the Be-Do-Have Meditation.
In contrast to how we've been conditioned to think,
If I just have this,
I will be able to do that and then I will be happy,
The Be-Do-Have method of thinking flips the script by emphasizing the importance of inner alignment before chasing external goals.
We first focus on being the person we want to be and doing the actions this person would do and then we can have those external resources.
In this approach,
The external markers of success,
Like wealth,
Status,
Or possessions,
Will come as a result of your internal happiness and fulfillment,
But it is a side effect,
Not a goal.
This is about being authentic,
Taking purposeful action,
And then allowing the universe to deliver the resources we need to thrive.
So let's get ready for a powerful approach to manifestation as we dive into our deeper purpose and bring it to life.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position in your chair.
Allow your spine to be tall yet relaxed.
Close your eyes gently,
Allowing yourself to turn inward.
Feel the support of the chair beneath you,
Grounding you in this moment.
Take a few moments to simply be,
To settle into your body and your breath.
As you sit here,
Bring your attention to the sounds around you.
Notice the gentle hum of life happening around you.
Let these sounds become the backdrop to your meditation,
Anchoring you in the present moment.
Now shift your focus to your breath.
Begin to breathe deeply and intentionally.
Inhale through your nose,
Feeling the coolness of the breath as it enters your body,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Feeling the warmth of the breath as it leaves your body.
Allow each inhale to fill you with a sense of calm,
And each exhale to release any tension or stress you may be holding on to.
Let it melt away.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhale fully,
Releasing any tensions in your body.
Let's do this for 5 more breaths,
Each one bringing you deeper into a state of relaxation.
As you settle back into your normal breath,
Take a moment to set your intention for who you want to become.
I want to be happy.
I want to be free.
I want to be a better person.
Who do you want to be?
Once you have clarity,
You can either silently declare your intentions to the universe,
Or state it out loud with confidence and conviction.
Again,
Repeat this intention three times,
Allowing the words to resonate within you.
Now with gratitude in your heart,
Express your thanks to the universe for its support in your desires.
Repeat this expression of gratitude three times,
Feeling the warmth and abundance that surrounds you.
To more easily manifest our intentions,
We need to base our emotions in a tangible reality,
An experience we've had before.
So I want you to bring your hands to rest gently over your heart center,
And allow yourself a moment of pure joy and love,
Perhaps a cherished memory with a loved one,
Or a time when you felt completely at peace.
Feel that emotion fully in your heart,
Allowing it to expand more and more,
And fill you with warmth and light.
You can feel that memory start to pulse out of your heart.
Your whole body gets warmer and warmer.
That joy is tangible,
Palpable.
With our vibrations high from a previous,
Joyful experience,
Let's now turn our mind towards our intention,
That person we were hoping to be.
Start to visualize your intention coming to fruition.
Imagine yourself being this wonderful person in vivid detail.
What are they thinking about right now?
What feelings are they expressing?
What are they wearing?
What activities are they doing?
Are they drinking coffee?
Are they talking to a friend?
Picture this in vivid color.
Who are they surrounded by?
Other friends,
Family,
Loved ones?
Or sitting peacefully in solitude?
Start to engage all your senses,
Feel the textures,
Hear the sounds,
And smell the sense of this imagined reality.
Allow yourself to bask in the joy and fulfillment of this moment.
As you continue to visualize,
Imagine a dial or a knob within your mind's eye that allows you to enhance the brightness and clarity of this vision.
Slowly start to turn this dial up,
Allowing the scene to become even more vibrant and real.
Notice how this amplifies your feelings of happiness and contentment,
Allowing them to flow freely through your being.
As you bathe in this beautiful future self,
I want you to picture this person turning towards you,
Acknowledging you,
And smiling at you.
You ask her,
What is one small thing I can do today to get me an ounce closer to where you are?
She smiles again and takes your hand.
She looks in your eyes and whispers what you need to hear.
Listen closely to this bit of advice.
It's so simple,
So easy.
You just need to let go of any fears of failure,
Any worries of self-doubt.
You are envisioning this future self because you can be her.
You have all the tools already inside you.
Now,
Before we start to open our eyes,
Please picture yourself taking that small step and promise yourself that you will take action as you open your eyes.
There is no reason to wait.
Your future is counting on it.
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Feel the weight of your body in the chair.
The sensation of your breath as it moves in and out of your body.
The sounds surrounding you start to come back into focus.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gradually returning to full wakefulness.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Allowing the light to filter in.
Take a moment to appreciate the peace and clarity you've cultivated during this meditation with another declaration of gratitude to the universe.
Thank you for allowing me to see my full potential.
Carry this sense of calm and purpose with you as you move through your day,
Knowing that you are aligned with your deepest desires and intentions.
