Welcome to this space of rest,
Renewal,
And presence.
Take a moment to settle in.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your breath be slow.
Take a gentle inhale through your nose,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And a slow exhale through your mouth,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Continue breathing like this,
Steady and calm,
Allowing your body and your heart to settle.
Sometimes the world tells us who we should be.
Our past tells us who we were.
But God's word tells us who we are.
As you breathe,
Let these truths wash over you.
Inhale slowly and hear this truth from scripture.
Scripture,
You are God's beloved,
Rooted in Matthew 3,
Verse 17.
Exhale,
Letting go of any doubt.
Inhale again.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139,
14.
Exhale,
Releasing comparison.
Inhale.
You are chosen and deeply loved,
Colossians 3,
Verse 12.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Releasing the need to prove yourself.
Inhale.
You are held by God's grace,
2 Corinthians 12,
Verse 9.
Exhale,
Releasing heaviness.
Let these words settle,
Not as something you have to earn,
But as truth already spoken over your life.
You don't have to question your worth today.
God has already named you and his voice is gentle,
Steady,
And full of love.
Take one more slow inhale and a peaceful exhale.
It's been a gift to share this practice with you.
Go gently,
Breathe deeply,
And carry this peace wherever you go.
