Hi,
I'm Ebony.
Welcome to this space of rest,
Renewal,
And presence.
Take a moment to settle wherever you are.
Maybe close your eyes,
Soften your shoulders,
Unclench your jaw,
Let yourself fully arrive.
Now take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.
Let's do that again.
This time inhale for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale for a count of four.
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Feel your body begin to soften,
Your shoulders release,
Your breath lengthens.
Continue to breathe like that through this meditation.
Slow and steady,
In and out,
Allowing your heart to quiet just a little more with each breath.
Sometimes waiting feels heavy,
Like a pause we didn't ask for.
But even here,
God is near,
Breathing life,
Strength,
And patience into us.
Isaiah 40 verse 31 says,
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
I'll read that again.
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
Waiting doesn't mean doing nothing.
It's an invitation to rest,
To trust,
To let God renew what's been worn down.
When we breathe,
When we slow down,
We practice waiting well.
We remind our bodies and our hearts that we are safe to pause,
That renewal happens here,
Even in this space.
So as you inhale,
Imagine strength rising within you,
Gentle but steady.
And as you exhale,
Release the need to control the timing of things.
Breathe in,
Faith.
Breathe out,
Fear.
Breathe in,
Peace.
Breathe out,
Striving.
God is moving,
Even when you can't see it yet.
He's renewing your strength in ways you'll only understand later.
And this breath,
Your breath in this moment,
Is proof that life continues,
That hope is still present.
You don't have to rush the process.
You can rest in the waiting and trust that you're being prepared for what's next.
Let your breath remind you,
Renewal is happening even now.
It's been a gift to share this practice with you.
Go gently,
Breathe deeply,
And carry this peace wherever you go.
