Thank you for joining me for this tapping meditation.
Our daily lives become so busy and there's so much pressure for all the things we have to do.
This meditation is to shift the old patterns of overwhelm and pressure that become so ingrained,
So we can be more present in our day.
So I want you to tune in to the pressure that you feel for all the things you've got to do.
I really want you to connect with it and where do you feel it in your body?
What does it feel like in the body?
Is it a clenching?
A gripping?
Is it heaviness?
Or waves?
Does it have a colour?
Now repeat after me out loud if you can or in your mind and please change any words to reflect what you feel in your body.
We will start tapping on the side of the hand.
Even though I have so much to do,
There isn't enough time.
I accept myself and all of my feelings.
Still on the side of the hand,
Even though I've got so much to do,
I feel this pressure in my body.
I feel it in my stomach clenching,
Or name what you feel and I'm safe right here and now.
And even though there is just so much to do and I feel overwhelmed by it,
I accept myself and all of my feelings.
Moving now to the eyebrow point,
Tapping gently,
This pressure to be doing everything.
The side of the eye.
I've got this to-do list and if you have a to-do list,
Try to picture it.
Under the eye.
There's too much to do.
Under the nose.
I'm running around all the time.
I can't get it all done.
Under the mouth.
And then I feel guilty.
Collarbone.
It never goes away.
All this pressure to be doing.
Under the arm.
I feel this clenching in my stomach,
Or state what you are feeling.
Top of the head.
This endless pressure to be getting everything done.
Eyebrow.
There's just always more and it's so overwhelming.
Side of the eye.
All the pressure and overwhelm to get everything done.
Collarbone.
Under the eye.
This pressure in my body.
Under the nose.
I'm just so tired.
Under the mouth.
I wonder if I could begin to let that go.
Collarbone.
But then nothing would get done.
Under the arm.
All this pressure and overwhelm.
Top of the head.
All the stuff I've got to do.
Now just stop and take a deep breath and maybe shake your hands out.
So that was to acknowledge what we're feeling.
Now we're going to move towards releasing it.
So going back to the side of the hand.
Even though I've got all these things to do and I feel all of this pressure,
It might be safe to try something new.
Still on the side of the hand.
Even though I never seem to find time to just be without feeling this pressure.
I'm safe here and now.
And I'm opening up to a new way.
Still on the side of the hand.
And even though I have so much to do,
It might be safe to let some of this go.
Moving to the eyebrow.
I wonder if I could let some of this energy go.
Side of the eye.
All this rushing around energy.
It feels familiar,
But maybe I could release some of it.
Under the eye.
It's time to change.
It's time to let this go.
Under the nose.
It's my intention and my choice to release this energy.
Under the mouth.
I thank my body for holding on to it to keep me safe.
But it's no longer serving me.
Collarbone.
Asking my body to process and release this old energy of rushing around.
Under the arm.
This pressure I feel about the things I have to do.
Top of the head.
I choose to let go of the pressure.
I choose to have a new relationship to it.
Eyebrow.
I choose to let go of all of this pressure.
Side of the eye.
Releasing it now from every cell in my body.
Under the eye.
Releasing it from my heart and my mind.
Under the nose.
Releasing it from my energy field.
Under your mouth.
Releasing it from my past,
My present and my future.
Collarbone.
Releasing it from anywhere in the universe.
Under the arm.
Releasing this old pressure of having to rush around.
Top of the head.
It's safe to let it go.
And then again.
Can you shake your hands,
Releasing more of that energy.
And we'll come back to the side of the hand.
And even though I've known this energy for so long,
I'm choosing to bring more peace and presence into my daily life.
Still on the side of the hand.
Even though this is all new,
I give myself permission to try.
Again,
On the side of the hand.
Even though I'm not sure what this will be like.
It might be easier than I think.
Eyebrow point.
I choose to be aware within my day.
Side of the eye.
And when I feel that rushing around energy,
I choose to pause.
Under the eye.
I can breathe and I connect with the vision of me feeling peace.
Under the nose.
Allowing myself to find a new way to navigate this.
Under the mouth.
What if it's easier than I think?
Collarbone.
I give myself permission to try.
Under the arm.
I choose to be aware and to shift my state,
Allowing myself to slow down.
Top of the head.
And breathe.
Eyebrow.
To remind myself that I am safe.
Side of the eye.
I get to choose how I feel.
Under the eye.
Maybe I'll tap to release some of the stress.
Under the nose.
I'm ready to find a new way.
Under the mouth.
I can do this.
Collarbone.
I might not do it perfectly,
But I choose to start.
Under the arm.
I choose progress,
Not perfection.
Top of the head.
And so it is.
Today is a new day.
And just take a moment now to sit quietly and feel that peace.
Can you anchor that in?
And that's what you're going to connect with when you recognize that rushing around energy.
You pause.
You go within and reconnect with this.
The more you repeat this,
The more you'll recognize and consciously shift your energy in your day,
Releasing the old patterns and programs,
Sending you love and light.
You've got this.
