Boundaries are such an essential part of a balanced healthy life.
However,
Sometimes it feels overwhelming how and where to start.
Join me as we tap away fear and resistance to setting boundaries so that you can begin to create and maintain respect and alignment in your life.
We'll start by acknowledging some of the fear and resistance that you may be feeling about boundaries,
And then we'll move into acceptance and possibilities.
Tapping on the side of the hand,
Even though I don't have clear boundaries in my life,
And when I think of setting boundaries,
I feel tension in my heart.
Just tune in to what you feel in your body.
It could be churning in your stomach.
It could be.
.
.
And I accept myself and everything I'm feeling.
Still on the side of the hand.
Even though I find it hard,
Or even impossible,
To create boundaries with,
And fill in the blank if there's a specific person that you're really struggling with,
I am safe right here and now.
And even though I find it so hard to have healthy boundaries,
I accept how hard this has been for me,
And I'm open to finding a new way.
Moving to the eyebrow.
It's so hard to create boundaries.
Side of the eye.
It doesn't feel safe to create my boundaries.
Under the eye.
I don't know what to do.
Under the nose.
I'm scared to state my boundaries.
Under the mouth.
What if they get mad?
Collarbone.
What if they don't like me?
Under the arm.
I feel this fear in my heart,
And you tune in to where you're feeling it.
Just be present with it and state it out loud.
This fear.
Top of the head.
This feeling in my body when I think of creating boundaries.
Eyebrow.
I don't know how to do boundaries.
Side of the eye.
And I accept myself and everything that I'm feeling.
Under the eye.
This is really hard for me,
And I'm okay.
Under the nose.
Asking my body to relax,
Even when I think about setting boundaries.
Under the mouth.
I know boundaries will help me to feel clearer.
Collarbone.
I just don't know how to do it.
Under the arm.
It doesn't feel safe.
Top of the head.
I honor this fear I feel about setting boundaries.
We'll go back to the side of the hand.
Even though I find it so hard to create boundaries,
I'm open to the possibility I might be able to start.
Even though boundaries seem impossible,
I'm open to trying something new.
Even though boundaries have felt out of reach,
I accept myself and everything that I'm feeling.
Eyebrow.
Boundaries have been scary.
Side of the eye.
So I haven't tried to create them,
And that makes sense.
Under the eye.
I'm learning more about boundaries now.
Under the nose.
And I believe I deserve to have boundaries.
Under the mouth.
Maybe I can release a bit of this resistance to boundaries.
Collarbone.
Maybe it can be safe to create boundaries.
Under the arm.
I can start one step at a time.
Top of the head.
One small boundary at a time.
Eyebrow.
And then create a new one.
And another.
Side of the eye.
I'm letting my body know it might be safe to create boundaries.
Under the eye.
I don't have to do it all at once.
Under the nose.
I don't have to do it perfectly.
Under the mouth.
I choose to release some of the resistance to creating boundaries.
Collarbone.
I am open to the possibility it might feel good to have boundaries.
Under the arm.
I am willing to start bringing balance into my life by creating boundaries.
Top of the head.
I give myself permission to begin to create boundaries in my life.
Just taking your hands and placing them over your heart.
Take a few deep breaths into your heart space.
What are you feeling?
Is there any resistance?
Or still some fear?
You can always repeat this or come back to it later.
Just keep tapping away.
Tapping away that resistance until you're ready to start implementing boundaries.
Good luck.
You can do this.
It's an empowering feeling when you do create and honour your boundaries.
And thank you for tapping with me.
I'm sending you love.
Until the next time.
