Let's prepare to meditate.

In this meditation we will be lying down.

Find a big space for yourself where you are not touching anyone else and lie down on your back.

Rest your arms and hands on the ground beside you,

So that you aren't using a single muscle to hold them up.

Let your hands be soft and fall open naturally.

Adjust your shoulders so they come away from your ears,

And adjust your back so that it is tall and straight.

Close your eyes.

Take a nice filling breath in.

Breathe deeply in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your mouth.

Do this again.

Now when you exhale,

Breathe out with a long sigh.

Do this breathing again a few more times to settle your mind and body.

You are ready to begin.

You are lying outside on a snowy winter's day.

You are on your back watching the sky.

You feel warm and comfortable as snowflakes fall upon you.

Imagine them touching your skin and melting slowly.

As they melt,

Try to feel them tingle on your body.

Now focus on specific parts of your body as the snowflakes touch,

Melt and tingle.

To begin,

Let's try your nose.

Imagine a snowflake falling on your nose and melting into your skin and leaving a little tingling sensation.

Imagine yourself feeling it.

Let's try another place.

Imagine a snowflake falling onto one of your fingers.

Try to feel it.

Another snowflake now falls onto a different finger and now a finger on your opposite hand.

Now imagine a snowflake touching your lips.

Imagine one falling between your eyebrows now.

Imagine a snowflake falling on one of your eyelids and now the other.

A snowflake falls in the middle of your chest and makes you relax even further.

Try to imagine it.

Try to feel it.

Imagine a snowflake landing on your big toe.

Now one falls on the big toe of your other foot.

A snowflake now touches one of your ears and now the other.

Imagine these snowflakes melting into your body and making it feel soft,

Heavy and relaxed.

Lie still now and enjoy your relaxation on this beautiful winter's day.

As our meditation comes to a close,

Draw your attention back to your real body.

Notice and feel where your body is touching the floor.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Take a deep breath.

Now go ahead and stretch out your body in any way that feels good to you.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Now go out and find the magic in your day.
