Standing in front of a magical mirror, you see your future self. Spend the meditation considering and imagining who your future self is. Feel into this future version of yourself, see how you spend your time, where you live, what brings you joy and who are your friends. How do you contribute to the world, how does your future self feel in your mind, heart and body?

Let's prepare to meditate.

Adjust your body so that you are sitting comfortably.

Close your eyes.

Rest your hands on your lap in any way that is comfortable for you.

Take a nice filling breath in.

Breathe deeply in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your mouth.

Do this again.

Now when you exhale,

Breathe out with a long sigh.

Do this breathing again a few more times to settle your mind and body.

You are ready to begin.

You find yourself standing in front of a mirror.

This is a magical mirror that shows you your future self.

Picture your future self looking back at you in this mirror.

Picture an older version of you,

A version of you who you imagine yourself to be,

A version of you who you wish to be when you are older.

Take a moment to imagine what you look like.

How do you look different?

How do you look the same?

What are you wearing?

Now imagine seeing yourself in your dream job.

What do you do for work?

How does it bring you joy?

What type of people do you work with?

Imagine seeing yourself now where you would like to live.

Imagine the house you'd like to live in.

Do you live in the city or the country?

Take a moment now to imagine what your future self does for fun.

How do you keep busy?

What brings you joy?

Who are you hanging out with?

Now let's imagine what kind of person you are in the future.

How does the future you act?

How do you behave?

How does future you treat others?

What types of kind things do you see yourself doing?

What do you do to treat yourself well?

What do you do to treat others well?

What do you do to help the world?

Imagine how the future you thinks.

What type of positive,

Inspirational or motivational things do you say to yourself?

How does your future self feel in your body?

How does your future self feel in your heart?

How have you improved yourself from the age you are now?

What have you changed for the better?

What are your favorite parts about your future self?

As our meditation comes to a close,

Draw your attention back to your real body.

Notice and feel where your body is touching the floor or chair.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Take a deep breath.

Now go ahead and stretch out your body in any way that feels good to you.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Now go out and find the magic in your day.
