Christian Devotional: "The Spirit Of Generosity"

The spirit of scarcity is familiar to all of us. A sense of mot having or not being enough creates such pervasive spirit. However, God's spirit is abundance and generosity. On our journey of learning to trust God's reality more and more, we also become transformed in allowing the spirit of generosity to permeate us, and through us the world around us.

Generosity. The only things standing between you and the compassionate, Wise and creative person you want to be are matters of choice. Your choice. No one can occupy your generosity except you. Quote by Gary Zukav. Meditation. When we allow the spirit of generosity to heal our fear, We can open our hands. We can start letting go. We can share and give freely. We no longer need to compare or measure. We develop a stance of generosity. We believe that the universe will take care of us and through us also others who are in need. We believe that there is a universal goodwill for all. I am saying a prayer. Generous God, Pour out your spirit of generosity into our hearts. When we feel fear and anger coming on, Speak to us. Whisper gentle words of love and affirmation into our hearts. We assure us that we are yours and that you are abundance. Hold us in the palm of your large and generous hands so that we will be refreshed and can open our hands and share the abundance that you have given us with others. Amen. And the Bible verse is from Proverbs 11 verse 25. A generous person will prosper. Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
