Do a Meditation using mantra,
Sound and mudra,
Hand movements.
And I'm going to explain a little bit about the mudras in your hands and what they are meant for.
This is a.
.
.
To bring balance to left and right brain.
And to all of the elements in the body.
What we're going to do is we're going to make sound and we're also going to make a hand movement,
We're going to say the sounds sa,
Ta,
Na,
Ma.
These are the seed sounds of what kundalini yogis call satnam.
Satnam is.
.
.
True self.
So what we're trying to do by repeating these seed sounds is tap into the truth of ourself,
To love,
To the connection,
To prana,
To God,
Or to whatever it is that you want to call it.
Sa-ta-na-ma.
Or the seed sounds of satnam.
The mudras that we do is we take the thumb to the index finger when we say sa,
This is for wisdom.
Ta is middle finger.
This is for patients.
Na is ring finger.
This is for.
.
.
Creativity,
Energy,
And MA is for communication.
So we're going to move the fingers as we make the sounds.
It's a good way to give the mind a job.
And balance the energy channels.
We're going to do a few rounds together out loud and you can do it with me.
I want you to roll to the front of the sit bones,
Lift the heart,
Lengthen the spine.
Take a deep breath.
Inhale through the nose and exhale just in a sigh through the mouth.
And we're going to start.
Inhale.
Join me.
Satana Ma Satana Ma Namah.
SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA Satanamma.
SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA Satanam.
SATA NAMA SATA NAMA SATA NAMA Last time.
Inhale deep.
Hold the breath in.
Raise the arms up above the head.
Hold the breath in and shake the arms.
Keep holding the breath.
Exhale,
Keep shaking the arms.
Inhale deep,
Hold the breath.
Exhale,
Keep shaking the arms.
Last one.
Inhale.
Hold the breath.
And exhale.
Hands come down onto the knees.
Long,
Deep breaths.
Close the eyes.
Notice the energy.
Relax the face,
The eyes,
The jaw.
Melt into it.
Bring the attention to the third eye point,
Forehead.
But relax the eyes back.
Bring your attention to the back of the head.
Feel the back of the head.
But keep focusing out the front of the forehead.
Third eye point.
Relax into the energy.
Let it expand.
Feel any sensation.
Energy at the back of the head As if it's.
.
.
Charging,
Energizing.
With every inhale.
And exhaling,
Expanding out through the body.
Melting out past the surface of your skin.
Take a deep inhale.
Exhale through the mouth.
One last breath.
Bring the hand palms together at the heart.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth in a sigh.
Namaste.
