Meditation for expression and communication.

Find a comfortable place to relax and turn inward.

Observe your breath.

Adjust your body so that your spine is straight and your face is relaxed.

Notice your breath,

How the air enters your nostrils and is pulled to the back of your throat.

Feel the sensation of the air as far as you can,

Passing your vocal cords and flowing down into your lungs.

Watching your breath.

On the next exhale,

Open your mouth,

Letting the air pass over your lips,

Making a slight sound like a breathy H.

Inhale through the nose,

And exhale with a breathy H.

Continue.

On the next exhale,

Continue making the breathy H sound,

But close your mouth.

So that the breath is only passing through your nostrils,

But you continue to hear the sound passing your vocal cords in the back of the throat.

Continue making the sound in the back of the throat.

Relax your face from inside out.

Relax your eyes,

Your jaw,

Listening to the sound in the back of your throat,

Like a mantra,

Giving your mind a job,

Keeping your attention on the sound that the breath makes.

This increases your own energy with this sound vibration.

The vibration of your words and the intention behind your words vibrate from your heart,

From your true authentic self,

That saying nothing is sometimes the wisest thing that you can do.

Not speaking unkind truths or gossiping,

But speaking things you want to grow in your life.

When you don't speak your truth,

You break your own heart.

As you breathe,

Imagine you are absorbing the essence of clear communication.

Allow it to flow through you.

Your power lies in expressing yourself in the moment that you need to.

In learning to respond rather than react.

When you can control your breath,

You can control your mind.

And slow down the impulsive reaction,

Giving you space to respond.

Giving you power to move in the direction that you want to go.

Choose wisely how you invest your energy in your words.

Still listening to the sound in the back of your throat.

And then allow yourself just to breathe normally.

No effort.

Appreciating the sense of clarity in your ability to express yourself with love and wisdom.

Remember,

You are capable of communicating and connecting with everyone in a meaningful and authentic way.
