Grounding,
And stability.
Begin by finding a relaxed place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so.
Take a moment to settle into your space.
Notice your breath,
Just observing your natural inhale and exhale through your nose.
Feel the sensation of cool air entering your nostrils,
And the slightly warmer air as you exhale.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
The rise and fall of your chest and abdomen.
There is no forcing,
Just observing without judgment.
Feel the points where your body is supported,
The sit bones,
Your back,
Legs,
Arms.
On the next exhale,
Feel all of those places expand as you sink deeper into relaxation.
Can you create more ease in your body,
Relaxing your face from inside out,
Your forehead,
The top of your head?
Can you feel the bottoms of your feet?
Energy,
Tingling sensation on the bottoms of your feet?
Relaxing even deeper,
Allow the energy to expand in the feet.
Take a moment,
Visualize that energy extending deep into the earth,
Like roots being pulled down to the earth's magnetic center.
We need roots for stability.
They reach the earth's core,
Plugging into this endless energy source that nourishes you.
You feel rooted,
Stable,
Strong.
And on the next breath,
Imagine drawing up energy from the earth through these roots.
Feel this energy as comforting,
Nourishing,
As it flows up through your feet,
Legs,
Into your body,
Filling you with a sense of security and strength.
With every exhale,
You radiate this energy beyond the surface of your skin,
Creating space and protection around you.
Allow yourself to feel the support that is always there for you.
Notice any sensations in your body,
Tingling,
Warmth.
Know that you can return to this place of stability whenever you need it.
When you feel ready,
Take a deeper breath,
Gently open your eyes,
And take a moment to appreciate the stillness and stability that you have cultivated within yourself.
Preserve this feeling.
