Welcome.
Today we will make space to connect to our inner intuition.
There is a place of inherent wisdom that lives within each of us.
We can get disconnected from this inner guide as we move through the world and receive messages telling us who to be,
What to wear,
And how to spend our time.
And still,
This place of wisdom is always within us,
Yearning for us to listen.
The poet Rumi said.
There is a voice that doesn't use words.
Listen.
So much of the time our minds are consumed in thoughts.
We don't give ourselves the space to simply listen.
The more time we take to cultivate connection with our intuition.
The more likely we are to receive the gifts and guidance that has to offer.
Let's begin to settle in for our practice and connect with our intuition.
When you're ready.
Come to a comfortable seat.
Allow your body to settle.
Soften your shoulders and let your spine lengthen towards the sky.
Slowly,
Allow your eyes to close.
Begin to notice the natural pace of your breath.
Without changing anything.
Gently breathing in.
And breathing out.
As we connect with our inner intuition,
We can draw awareness to the third eye,
Or Ajna Chakra,
Which is located at the space between your eyebrows.
The third eye chakra represents imagination.
Intuition,
And inner knowing.
Start to guide your attention to the space between your eyebrows.
You might visualize energy pooling there.
Perhaps an indigo color begins to form in your mind's eye.
Maybe you even feel a tingly sensation as your awareness rests there.
Begin to draw your hands together in front of your heart center in a prayer position.
Keep the pads of your fingers connected and allow your palms to slowly float away from one another.
All that remains connected should be the fingertips.
This is called the Hakini Mutra.
Which is used to stimulate the third eye chakra.
Keep your fingers connected in this way.
And guide your awareness back to the space between your eyebrows.
You are welcome to keep your hands resting in front of your heart in this position.
Or bring your thumbs to gently touch your third eye center.
Let awareness be gently drawn to the seat of your intuition.
If at any moment this becomes uncomfortable.
Release the mudra.
And let your awareness simply rest at your third eye.
When you feel ready,
We'll invite in the seed mantra.
Or Bija Mantra.
To activate the third eye.
Aum.
Begin to repeat this mantra silently to yourself.
In a steady,
Easeful manner.
Om.
Om,
Om If you noticed your mind drifting away,
Gently guide your attention back to your third eye and back to the repetition of the mantra.
Om.
Aum.
Om.
Let each repetition come without effort,
Gently letting the vibration of this mantra infuse into your spirit.
Om.
AM.
Om.
Continue this effortless repetition at a pace that feels good for you.
Allow yourself to return back as many times as you need to when you find yourself drifting.
I'll watch the time.
Slowly release the repetition of the mantra.
Allow your hands to gently fall towards your lap.
Take this moment to pause in stillness and silence.
When you're ready.
Bring awareness back to your breath.
Notice if there is more clarity and connection with each breath.
Slowly,
Allow your eyes to flutter open.
The connection to your intuition can be strengthened and deepened over time.
This place of inner knowing is always here for us,
As long as we take the time to nurture this connection.
May you always be reminded of your ever-present connection to your intuition.
And allow this to be your guide today.
And every day.
Namaste.
