I'd like to welcome you to this New Year's meditation.

New Year's is both a time of reflection on the year that has passed,

As well as a time to look forward to the year ahead of us.

It is a time to maybe set new goals for ourselves,

To start our journey of personal growth,

Whatever that may be.

If you are one of those people,

This meditation is for you.

We'll begin by finding a comfortable seated position or lying down,

Closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths to center yourself in the present moment.

As you breathe,

Reflect on the past year.

Acknowledge your achievements,

Challenges,

And the lessons you've learned.

Let go of any lingering negativity or self-judgment.

Now bring your attention to the present and envision the upcoming year as a blank canvas full of possibilities.

Picture yourself standing at the threshold of a new beginning filled with hope and potential.

Take a moment to set your intentions.

What are your aspirations for the coming year?

Now allow your mind to wander freely,

Dreaming big without constraints.

Visualize these goals with vivid detail.

See yourself achieving them,

Feel the emotions,

And immerse yourself in the success.

As you set these intentions,

Notice any self-doubt or fear that may arise.

Acknowledge these feelings without judgment.

Instead of resisting,

Offer yourself words of self-compassion.
