Hey there,
I'm glad you're here,
Taking this moment for yourself.
You've made the choice to reconnect,
To be with yourself,
And that's no small thing.
So today,
We're going to focus on coming back to you.
Who you really are underneath all the noise and expectations.
This isn't about doing things perfectly or being someone you're not.
It's about returning to your own energy,
Feeling grounded,
And finding love for yourself just as you are.
So find a comfortable spot,
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever feels good for you.
Now close your eyes,
If that feels safe,
Or just soften your gaze.
Let's take this time to be human,
No pressure,
No judgment,
Just presence.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it for just a moment,
And then exhale slowly.
Let your shoulders relax,
Let your jaw unclench.
Take another deep breath in,
Filling your belly,
And let it go.
Feel yourself settling just a little more with each breath.
Notice how your body feels.
Notice where you're holding tension,
Mine's in my shoulders all the time,
Maybe it's in your neck,
Your back,
Or your legs,
You don't need to fix anything,
Just notice it.
Let yourself be exactly as you are,
Again,
Don't try to change it.
If thoughts are swirling around,
That's okay,
Just let them pass by like little clouds in the sky,
Or just a balloon,
They're just thoughts,
They don't define you.
Coming back to the present moment,
Just feel the ground beneath you,
Whether that's on your bed,
On the couch,
On the floor,
In a chair,
I don't know any other options,
So if you're in a different position,
I would be surprised.
But whether it's a chair,
A cushion,
Or just on the floor,
Let it support you.
Feel its solidity,
Its steadiness,
And just let yourself be held by the earth.
You don't have to hold everything up right now,
Just let yourself be here.
Now,
Bring awareness to your heart space,
Right at the center of your chest.
You can bring a hand there,
Or just be mindful of it,
Maybe you feel your heartbeat,
Or maybe it's just a warmth,
Or a sensation of energy.
Whatever you feel is perfect.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
This time sending that breath right into your heart.
Let it expand with your inhale,
And soften with your exhale.
Breathe into your own center,
The place where your energy lives.
The part of you that's been with you through every high,
And every low.
It's always there,
Even when life feels overwhelming.
Now think about who you are.
Not who you're supposed to be,
Or who you're trying to be,
But who you really are underneath everything.
The you that laughs at silly jokes.
The you that feels so deeply.
The you that's doing your best,
Even on the hard days.
Breathe into that person.
Feel their presence.
Feel their heart.
They're worthy of love,
Just as they are.
Feel it all.
This is you.
Now in this space,
I want you to repeat a few things to yourself.
You don't have to say them out loud,
Unless you want to.
I think sometimes that just solidifies the affirmation.
But you can let them echo in your mind if you feel comfortable.
If they feel weird or awkward,
That's okay.
Just let them land however they do.
I'll be saying each of them three times.
I am enough,
Exactly as I am.
I am enough,
Exactly as I am.
I am enough,
Exactly as I am.
I am deserving of love and care.
I am deserving of love and care.
I am deserving of love and care.
It's okay to be imperfect.
I am still worthy.
It's okay to be imperfect.
I am still worthy.
It's okay to be imperfect.
I am still worthy.
I am allowed to take up space.
That's a good one.
I am allowed to take up space.
One last time.
I am allowed to take up space.
I honor my journey with all its ups and downs.
I honor my journey with all its ups and downs.
I honor my journey with all its ups and downs.
Breathe these words in.
Let them sit with you.
Even if they don't fully resonate right now,
Let them plant a seed.
Let them exist as a possibility.
As you continue to breathe,
I want you to imagine all the expectations you carry.
Expectations from others,
From society,
From yourself.
Imagine them as heavy backpacks you've been wearing for so long,
You almost forgot they were there.
One by one,
Picture yourself taking them off.
No pressure,
No rush,
Just setting them down gently.
Feel the weight lifting from your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your back.
Feel the lightness as you let go of what's not yours to carry.
In this moment,
All you need to be is you.
Not perfect,
Not performing,
Just you,
Raw and real and present.
There's nothing you need to prove.
Nowhere else you need to be.
Again,
If your thoughts wander,
Come back to yourself,
To this present moment.
Maybe listen to your surroundings.
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
When you're ready,
Just bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders,
That always feels really good.
As you deep breath in,
And exhale out.
Now regular breathing,
Just notice the rhythm of your breath.
The rise and fall that's been with you this whole time.
When you're ready,
Take one last deep breath in.
Hold,
Bring in some self love,
It's flowing through your heart.
And a slow,
Steady exhale through the mouth.
Feel the warmth just radiate through your chest,
Through your body.
If your eyes are closed,
Gently blink them open.
If they're open,
Just let your gaze soften and take in the space around you,
Wherever you are.
Remember,
This feeling of connection,
This sense of self love,
It's always here.
It doesn't disappear when you leave this meditation,
By the way.
It's not just gone,
It's within you.
Waiting for you to return again and again.
Thank you for sharing this time with yourself.
Remember,
You are doing the best you can.
And that's enough.
You are enough.
Take your time getting up,
Or you can just sit here for a while.
There's no rush.
You are exactly where you need to be.
Keep being you.
Stay present and stay humble.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
