Welcome to this meditation brought to you by Create the Calm.
Settle into a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your body find support in the surface beneath you.
Close your eyes if that feels safe.
And bring your attention to your breath.
Notice your inhale.
Notice your exhale.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to hurry.
Just arriving here.
This meditation is for those seasons when change feels impossibly slow.
When you've done the work,
Planted the seeds,
And are still waiting to see them grow.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.
Again,
In and out.
Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.
Let your jaw unclench and relax the muscles of your face.
Bring your awareness to the rise and fall of your belly.
Feel the rhythm of your breath anchoring you here.
With each inhale,
Silently say to yourself,
I am here.
With each exhale,
Say,
I am safe.
Now gently bring to mind an area of your life where you've been waiting for change.
It might be something physical,
Like your body.
It might be financial,
Or relational,
Or something spiritual.
Notice how it feels to think of this waiting.
Do you sense tightness in your chest?
A heaviness in your stomach?
Maybe a restless energy in your thoughts.
Breathe into that space.
Without judgment,
Simply acknowledge,
Yes,
This is here.
Yes,
This is how I feel.
Remind yourself,
It's okay to be impatient.
It's okay to be tired of waiting.
I don't need to push this feeling away.
I can hold it with compassion.
Imagine now that your life is a garden.
You've planted seeds of intention,
Seeds of effort,
Seeds of faith.
Even though you can't see the sprouts,
You trust that something is happening beneath the surface.
Roots are reaching down into the soil.
The unseen growth is just as important as what will eventually break through the ground.
As you breathe,
Picture yourself gently watering those seeds with patience,
Sunlight,
And care.
Whisper to yourself,
My efforts are not wasted.
Growth is happening even if I can't see it yet.
Every day is part of the process.
Now bring your attention back to your body.
Notice any lingering tension.
If your hands are clenched,
Gently release them.
If your shoulders are hunched,
Let them soften.
Imagine a warm light at the center of your chest,
Glowing gently.
With each breath,
This light expands,
Radiating calm throughout your body.
As the light spreads,
Let it whisper to your restless thoughts.
Be still.
Trust the timing.
Rest here.
If your mind tries to argue,
If it says,
But nothing is changing,
Gently reply.
Change is happening in ways I cannot yet see.
I give myself permission to rest.
Let these words wash over you,
Repeating silently after me if you wish.
I release the need to control the timing of change.
I allow myself to trust the process of unfolding.
My worth is not measured by how quickly life shifts.
I am patient.
I am resilient.
I am whole,
Even here.
Take a few more breaths with these truths.
Feel the steadiness they bring.
When you're ready,
Bring gentle movement to your fingers and toes.
Slowly open your eyes,
Returning to the present moment.
Carry with you the calm and trust that even in the waiting,
Life is moving forward.
