Hello friends and soul family.
So grateful you all decided to join me again for another meditation with Carly.
Welcome,
Welcome to my channel.
If this is the first time you've heard me,
I hope that you do take the time to follow and hopefully that we can keep connecting.
I'm happy to share my spiritual journey with all of you and very grateful to each of you for your energy and for helping me continue my journey on this path.
This is just a brief reminder that healing is not linear.
It comes in waves.
There is ebb and flow.
Be kind to yourself on this journey.
And remember how important the thoughts that you think are.
So I hope that today you will be able to sit with your thoughts a bit.
Enjoy the sounds of nature.
I'm currently outside a beautiful nature park by kind of a marsh in Michigan.
So it's very lovely.
The sun is just about to set and the clouds are spectacular.
So enjoy the sounds.
Hoping that they get picked up on the microphone.
So welcome.
Let's take some deep centering breaths together.
And just remember that meditation,
We're really just trying to breathe consciously and allow those thoughts to float by.
Not any particular way to meditate correctly.
It's just a matter of becoming more at peace with things as they arise.
It's a practice for our lives.
Thank you for being here.
So deep centering breaths,
Breathe deeply in through your nose,
Filling that chest,
Those lungs,
All the way filling the belly and the diaphragm.
Just making sure that we are really filling ourselves up,
Feeling that oxygen going to our fingertips and our toes and every cell in our body.
So let's take some deep breaths.
If you want to put your hand on your heart and one on your stomach,
That's what I do to make sure that I am completely filled up with air.
So expel anything you might have in your lungs.
Breathe out and back in and out and back in.
Breathing out.
If you want to sigh it out,
You are more than welcome.
And breathing back in.
Just continuing with your rhythm of breath.
Making sure that you are centered,
That your body is comfortable.
Drop those shoulders.
Try to relax all of the muscles in your upper back and your torso,
Keeping your back straight.
If you need to lean against something for support,
Feel free.
But just kind of be here with your breath.
Breathing out fully every time and then breathing back in.
There is nothing more healing than our breath.
And by really quieting our minds or at least not giving in to those thoughts and running away with them,
But by consciously choosing to focus on our breath,
Whether it be through counting,
Through thinking words,
You know,
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Whatever keeps you on that rhythm.
Relaxing all the muscles in your face,
The brow,
The forehead.
Letting those eyes just relax.
If your eyes are closed,
If they are comfortable,
Then just let those eyelids sink down and feel the support from the earth.
Whether you are sitting cross-legged like I am or laying on your back or sitting up on a meditation pillow,
Whatever supports you.
That is always the most important thing is to listen to your body,
To learn and know your own limitations and to also recognize your own power and how strong our mind is and how powerful a tool it is.
Mind combined with breath,
Consciousness and presence all working together.
That is what we strive for.
That is the practice.
Sometimes it lasts only a moment,
But hopefully we can be grateful for each moment.
Whether they be positive or something that we are struggling with,
Just knowing that the moment passes,
But our peace does not have to.
We always have this place of still silent presence within us.
And we work best from this place of silent presence.
Our mind functions better.
We have more energy.
We are more focused on conversations we have with people.
We don't forget what we are saying quite as often.
We are really able to be here without ten thoughts running through our mind.
What a day.
No matter how long you have been practicing,
We all have times and moments and full days that we go without realizing that we are not being present.
Sometimes we just need a little reminder,
A quick moment,
A breather,
A little bit of nature sounds,
A little bit of fresh air and sunshine.
If you can,
I encourage you to get outside for even three to five minutes a day just to breathe in that fresh air.
I live in the city.
I know it's not easy,
But I also know that when I looked up nature preserves on my phone,
There was one ten minutes away and the universe does provide for us.
And what we are seeking is seeking us.
And we need to recognize that so much of this life we have control over.
Once we take responsibility for where we are and accept it,
Then we can move forward and grow,
Learn to love ourselves.
Whether there's noise going on around you or thoughts moving through your mind,
Just know it's all okay.
You are wonderful just the way you are.
You have always been worthy of love and affection.
You always will be.
You're not your actions.
You are the soul in this vessel,
Here to shine your light upon the world.
We are so blessed to receive it.
I hope you're continuing your deep belly breathing.
I hope you feel a little bit calmer from the start of the practice.
For now,
I think I will keep this message around 10 minutes long,
Make it accessible for everyone to try.
Eventually,
We will do some longer practices together,
But for now,
I'd like to think we're all just beginning to feel better.
I hope you're all doing well.
I hope you're all doing well.
Eventually,
We will do some longer practices together,
But for now,
I'd like to think we're all just beginning this journey together.
I hope you have a wonderful day or evening or morning,
Whatever time you're listening to this.
Do something today that makes you happy and brings you joy,
Something that just lights you up inside,
Makes you smile.
If you can start your day with a smile,
Something that makes you laugh,
Then that is the most powerful medicine there is.
I guarantee you will have a great day if you can start it with laughter.
And remember that there is always this place of still silent presence within you to come back to at any time.
You are so loved and appreciated.
Your energy,
Your time,
You being here with me just lights my heart up.
This is what brings me joy.
So thank you.
Thank you from the very,
Very bottom of my heart.
I love you to the moon and back.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hope to see you again soon.
