In the Releasing Anxiety and Finding Inner Calm meditation, you’ll be guided to quiet your mind and let go of anxious thoughts. Releasing anxiety and finding inner calm,

A Reiki infused meditation.

We all know how overwhelming anxiety can feel sometimes.

It can sneak up on us during the day or keep us awake at night,

Making our minds raise and our hearts pound.

Whether it's stress from work,

Personal worries,

Or just the weight of everything going on around you,

Anxiety can feel like it just takes over.

But there's good news here,

My friend,

Beautiful soul.

You have the power to find calm and peace,

Even in the midst of that storm.

This Reiki infused meditation is all about helping you release that anxiety,

Giving yourself permission to breathe deeply and just let it all go.

The worries of your life,

Everything.

Together we're going to create a space where you can just reconnect with your inner calm and find the sense of balance again.

So first,

Find a spot where you can just sit or lie down comfortably.

You don't have to be fancy,

Just somewhere you can relax and just really let go.

Now once you're settled,

Gently close down your eyes,

Let your shoulders drop,

Releasing any tension you might be carrying.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Then exhale slowly through your mouth,

With a sigh if you want.

Ahhhh,

Just like that.

As you breathe out,

You're releasing any tightness or anxious thoughts with each and every breath.

Now I want you to imagine a soft,

Cool light,

Like a silver moonbeam,

Slowly entering the top of your head.

This light is calm,

Peaceful and soothing.

It's here to help you.

Picture that light flowing down through your body,

Touching every part of you as it moves.

As this light spreads,

Notice it easing any tension or tightness in your muscles.

Let it move gently through your neck,

Your shoulders,

Down your arms and into your chest.

Let it settle here for a moment,

Where your anxiety might feel the strongest.

As the light touches your heart,

Picture it clearing away any heaviness or stress,

Just clouds parting after a storm.

Allow yourself to release whatever's been weighing you down,

Those racing thoughts,

That tight feeling in your chest.

You don't need to hold onto it anymore.

Let the light carry it away,

Far away.

Now,

Silently invite the energy of Reiki to flow through you.

Imagine this soothing,

Peaceful energy wrapping around your beautiful heart,

Filling it with calm and peace.

You might feel warmth or maybe just a quiet stillness.

But trust that this energy is working with you to release whatever anxiety is no longer serving you.

If your mind starts to wander or anxious thoughts come up,

That's okay.

Just gently bring yourself back to your breath and the image of that beautiful silver light.

On your next inhale,

Breathe in calmness and breathe in peace.

On your exhale,

Let go of tension,

Of worry.

If it feels right to you,

Repeat to yourself,

I am safe,

I am calm,

I can release my anxiety and I can welcome peace.

Stay in this space for as long as you need.

There is no rush.

When you feel ready to come back,

Take a few deeper breaths,

Feeling the ground beneath you and that calm energy flowing through your body.

Slowly open your eyes when you feel ready,

Carrying this sense of peace and calm with you as you move through the rest of your day.

You have just created this space of calm within yourself and you can return to it whenever you need.
