Today we will focus on processing grief and reconnecting with the energy of your loved one.
During this meditation,
I want you to remember that energy knows no bounds and love transcends space and time.
Trust that your loved one is with you and their presence will make itself known in a way you cannot doubt.
Take a moment to find a quiet,
Comfortable place where you can sit or lie down without interruptions.
Allow yourself to fully relax and be present in this moment.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let's begin by setting an intention for this practice.
Whether you seek comfort,
Connection,
Or peace,
Allow yourself to hold that intention in your heart.
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in love and support,
And exhale,
Releasing any tension or heaviness.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling the air fill your chest and belly.
Then exhale gently through your mouth,
Letting go of any tightness or resistance.
Let's do that two more times.
Inhale deeply,
And exhale fully.
One more time.
Inhale deeply,
And exhale fully.
Now let your breath settle into its natural rhythm.
With each inhale,
Feel yourself becoming more grounded,
And with each exhale,
Release anything you've been holding onto that no longer serves you in this moment.
Let's move into a gentle body scan to invite healing energy into every part of your being.
As I guide you,
Imagine a warm,
Soothing light traveling through your body,
Bringing comfort and ease.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Feel the warmth of the light gently resting there.
Allow it to soften any tension in your scalp and forehead.
Feel the light moving down to your face,
Relaxing your jaw and cheeks.
Let it flow to the back of your head and neck,
Easing any tightness.
Now,
Allow the light to move to your shoulders,
Releasing the weight you've been carrying.
Feel it travel down to your arms,
Through your elbows,
Wrists,
And your hands.
Notice the light extending to your fingertips,
Filling them with warmth.
Bring your attention to your chest and heart space.
Imagine the light expanding here,
Wrapping your heart in love and support.
Take a moment to breathe into this space,
Feeling the connection of your loved one.
Allow the light to travel to your abdomen and lower back.
Feel it soothing and comforting those areas.
Let it flow into your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
And calves,
Releasing any tension or heaviness.
Finally,
Feel the light moving into your feet,
Grounding you deeply into the earth.
Now that your body is relaxed,
Visualize a soft,
Radiant light above you.
This light represents healing energy and love from the universe.
Imagine it gently pouring down over you,
Surrounding you in a protective and nurturing embrace.
As the light surrounds you,
Invite the presence of your loved one.
Trust that their energy is with you,
Surrounding you with love and support.
You may sense their presence as a warmth,
A memory,
Or even a feeling of peace.
In this space,
Imagine your loved one is standing before you.
See them as they were in their happiest moments,
Radiating joy and love.
Feel their energy reaching out to you,
Reminding you that they are always near.
Take a moment to speak with them in your mind.
Share what's on your heart,
Whether it's words of love,
Gratitude,
Or even the pain of missing them.
Trust that they hear you.
Now,
Take a deep breath in,
Breathing in the love they're sending you.
As you exhale,
Release any feelings of guilt,
Anger,
Or regret.
Inhale again,
Drawing in their light and warmth.
Exhale,
Letting go of any heaviness.
Know that your loved one will send you a sign,
A feather,
A song,
A gentle breeze,
Or something unmistakably meaningful to you.
Trust that their energy is limitless,
And they will always make their presence known in a way that leaves no doubt.
As we prepare to close,
Bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Maybe start by moving your fingers and your toes,
Grounding yourself in the present moment.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Know that you can return to this meditation anytime you need to feel supported and connected.
