Here are some words to share with you that were brought in through my window one windy morning last spring while meditating quietly alone as dawn raised the day. My breath floating skyward without wings.

Dear friends,

The poem I have that I would like to share with you today is called Without Wings.

I understand your name,

The unnamed essence of one.

I understand your breath flowing through all of life.

These places in ebb and flow,

In growth,

Death and rebirth.

What can we hold that is worthy before we let it all go?

Who can we be within the grace that is given to us?

In these stories we create for ourselves,

Where is the light we allow in?

What language fills our hearts?

All I know is what I see,

But this depends on what I look at.

What my eyes reflect,

My words speak.

Let the wind craft you into a vessel so you can fly home without wings.

Oh my! I especially like this one. The ending is really gorgeous. Fly home without wings.
