Dear friends,
The poem I would like to share with you today is called Between Worlds.
The dawn brought me to the trees,
Opening to communion,
The essence of earth speaking in roots,
Their song this humming bass,
Chanting in the wind,
Skyward,
Outward,
Expansive.
We spoke between worlds without knowing the language,
Easily understood in the early morning glimmer.
A passerby would only hear silence,
But I was filled vibrations without words.
They held me in these moments,
Fluid between us,
Recognizing my need for strength,
And I listened to their story.
We know one another from bark to skin,
Stillness to arching upwards,
But now I understand these are only visible differences.
Inwardly,
We are one.
We are the same.
