Hello and welcome to your midday Reiki refresher for focus and calm.

My name is Bridget and this short practice was designed to help you reset and refresh your energy midday,

Especially if you're feeling distracted or overwhelmed.

You don't need to do anything perfectly here.

Simply listen,

Breathe and allow your system to reset.

Know that everything here is an invitation and it is advised to always listen to your intuition and your body and only follow along with what you feel is aligned.

Without further ado,

I invite you to begin.

Settle into a comfortable position and if you're able to plant your feet grounded onto the floor and rest your hands gently on your lap or on your thighs with your palms faced towards the sky.

Closing your eyes if that feels safe for you.

Starting by noticing your breath.

There is no need to change it.

Simply become aware of your inhale and exhale as they flow in and out.

With your next inhale I invite you to imagine a soft wave of warm Reiki light flowing in through the crown of your head of the utmost white divine light.

This light carries a gentle intelligent energy that knows exactly what you need right now.

As you exhale feel this wave of energy slowly moving through your forehead and your temples softening any mental chatter,

Tension,

Fears,

Deadlines,

To-do lists and allowing all of those thoughts and energies to fade into the beautiful light in your mind's eye.

Feeling a beautiful protective energy around you closing off your energy and your field from anyone or anything that is not your divine self.

You are protected,

You are supported and your field is closed.

Only you and your divine Reiki light may support or interact with you at this time.

With your next inhale I invite you to feel this Reiki energy moving to between your eyebrows.

Feeling this nurturing light orb glowing and growing in your mind's eye.

As you breathe in feeling a sense of mental relief,

Of calm and stillness.

As you exhale out feeling your mind release any lingering thoughts and energies that are ready to leave.

Gently guiding the orb of Reiki light down towards your neck and shoulders.

Feel it wash away any tightness in your throat and any fatigue.

Letting go of any tension of words said,

Of words not said and feeling that energy dissolve and melt away.

As you exhale letting your shoulders drop.

This wave of energy continues to flow down through your chest and arms carrying away any distractions and clearing space inside of you.

Notice the sensation of calm and clarity growing with each breath.

Breathe in the Reiki light moves through your belly and lower back releasing any heaviness.

Breathe out your energy is feeling renewed and refreshed.

Taking a moment to observe the quality of your mind now.

Are your thoughts feeling less scattered?

Is your body feeling a little lighter?

And remember that you can always return to this wave of energy any time that you need a quick reset.

When you're ready gently starting to wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle those toes if you're able to.

Opening slowly those eyes and setting the intention to carry this calm focus with you into the rest of your day.

Taking one final deep breath in and one deep exhale out through your mouth making a loud vocal sigh.

You are now clear,

Your energy is reset and you are ready to return back to your day.
