Welcome in.
I'm Beth and this is Calm in Minutes.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Let your hands rest easily.
If it feels safe,
Close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
And exhale,
Letting your shoulders soften.
Allow yourself to arrive here.
This is your moment.
Nothing to explain.
Nothing to perform.
No need to be available to anyone right now.
Take another slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine drawing a quiet boundary around yourself.
A gentle,
Peaceful space that belongs only to you.
A space where you can rest,
Breathe,
And simply be.
With each inhale,
Invite in calm.
With each exhale.
Release the pressure to respond.
Fix,
Or carry anything more.
If your mind is busy,
That's okay.
If a part of you feels guilty for needing space.
That's okay too.
Just notice what is here without judgment.
Repeat silently to yourself.
I am allowed to need space.
I am allowed to step back.
I am allowed to protect my peace.
Feel the truth of those words settle into your body.
Now bring awareness to your chest.
And then your stomach.
Your jaw.
Your shoulders your abdomen.
Notice where you may be holding tension from being pulled in too many directions.
With your next exhale,
Let that tension loosen.
You don't have to hold everything all at once.
You don't have to stay open when you need rest.
Imagine a door gently closing between you and the noise outside you.
Not in anger or in fear.
Only in care.
In wisdom.
Just for now.
Behind that door there is quiet.
There is room to hear yourself again.
There is space to come back to what you need.
Take a slow breath in and silently say,
I return to myself.
Breathe out and say,
I reclaim my space.
Again.
Inhale,
I return to myself.
Exhale,
I reclaim my space.
Rest here for one more breath,
Allowing your body to feel supported,
Steady,
And safe.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
Notice the surface beneath you.
The air around you.
Take one final deep breath in.
And a long,
Complete exhale.
As you open your eyes or sharpen your gaze.
Carry this with you.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to protect your energy.
You are allowed to take up space by first reclaiming your own.
Namaste.
