Welcome to Be With Melinda,
A place for soul restoration and healing on all levels.
The level we're working on today is called Nefesh.
This meditation is called Rooted in Shekhinah,
A soul grounding meditation.
Wherever you are,
See if you can gently imagine yourself lying on the sacred earth,
The ground of being.
Feel your breath,
Nishmat Chaim,
The breath of life.
Feel it moving through your body,
Animating you,
Softening you,
Inviting you to let go of all effort,
All expectation,
And simply be here now.
Take your time,
Breathe slowly,
Let your body respond.
With each exhale,
Feel the earth,
The Adama,
Feel it rising to meet you.
This is not ordinary ground,
This is holy ground.
Feel yourself completely held by the Shekhinah,
The indwelling presence who rests with you here.
Let your body soften,
Let your weight surrender,
Every cell of your being supported,
Every edge of you embraced.
Give yourself permission to fully receive this support.
Bring your breath into your feet and ankles,
Allow your awareness to rest there.
Feel your breath expand and then release,
Melting down into the earth.
Go slowly,
Let the breath linger before it releases.
Breathing now into your calves and shins.
Let the breath open space and then gently let go,
Sinking deeper into the soil of safety.
Slow down even more,
You don't have to rush,
Let gravity guide you.
Breathe now into your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips,
Let your body soften and unfurl.
You are descending into the feminine chambers of grounding,
Into the dimension of Nefesh,
The soul of life force,
Where presence is rooted in form.
Rooting into Malchut,
The realm of embodiment and wholeness.
Pause,
Feel the presence of Malchut beneath you.
Settle into her.
Breathe now into your womb,
Whether physical or energetic,
This is your sacred creative center.
Bring awareness into your pelvis,
Your sacrum,
Your belly,
Let the breath expand and then release,
Letting Shekhinah flow in,
Letting all that you carry soften in her presence.
Rest here,
Let this be spacious,
Let your womb feel seen.
Breathing into your lower back,
Your sides,
Your navel center,
You sowed the foundation where soul and body commune.
Let this place be watered with breath,
Let it release.
No need to move forward until you feel ready.
Breathe and rest.
Now,
Breathing into your ribs,
Your solar plexus,
Your heart,
Feel your heart expand like the tree of life,
Enveloping your entire body in light and compassion.
You are contained in your own sacred field of being,
A field of chesed,
Of loving kindness.
Feel yourself surrounded by your own light,
Held by your own heart,
And from here begin to feel yourself gently descending,
Still held within your heart field,
Still rooted in your womb.
You descend through the layers of the earth,
Through the elemental codes of creation,
Through the mysteries of depth and hidden wisdom.
Move slowly,
There's no need to imagine it all at once.
Let each layer reveal itself,
Descending slowly into a chamber of healing,
A womb within the womb of the earth,
A hidden sanctuary of divine feminine presence.
Let yourself rest here,
Let your body,
Your soul,
Your nifesh receive.
Take your time,
Be still,
Let this be as long as you need.
In this place you may be met,
Perhaps by a guide,
A memory,
A message,
Or simply the deep silence of knowing.
Take a moment to feel what comes,
What wishes to support you now.
Let yourself listen deeply,
No pressure,
Just presence.
Offer gratitude,
Even if you don't yet understand the gift.
Shekhinah hears what you cannot yet say.
Give thanks in your own way.
And now,
Still held in your heart field,
Begin to rise gently,
Ascending through the layers of sacred soil,
Through roots and memory and radiant light.
Returning slowly,
Layer by layer,
Until you rejoin the part of you that lies above,
Resting on the surface of the earth.
Let this return be slow and sweet,
There's no hurry.
Feel yourself come back together,
Breathing into your eyes and ears,
Your nose and mouth,
Breathing into your brain,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Into your collarbones,
Your chest,
Your solar plexus.
Breathe,
Feel yourself re-enter your form with love,
Breathing into your belly,
Your back and your womb,
Into your hips and thighs,
Your knees and calves,
Your ankles and feet.
Feel your presence return to this moment.
Feel your entire body now,
Alive,
Rooted.
Rest for a few more breaths.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Begin to move,
And let the sacred grounding stay with you as you re-enter the world,
Rooted in earth,
Rooted in Shekhinah,
Rooted in Nefesh,
Rooted in you.
