Welcome to Be With Melinda.
Today we enter the Jewish mystical journey of Kavanah.
You do not need to know Hebrew or be Jewish to receive its wisdom.
Simply bring your breath,
Your body,
And an open heart.
Kavana means directing the heart.
It's the quiet inner orientation.
That turns our awareness toward the Divine.
In Jewish tradition,
Our actions become sacred.
Not simply because we perform them.
But because of the presence we bring to them.
This meditation is inspired by Keter,
The crown,
The highest of the ten sefirot in Kabbalah.
Keter is the threshold between the infinite and the infinite.
Known as the AIMSOF.
And creation itself.
Beyond thought and beyond striving,
It is the silent source from which wisdom,
Compassion,
And life continually flow.
Take a slow breath in and a slower breath out.
Again,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Relax your jaw.
Feel the support beneath you.
Imagine yourself standing beneath an ancient olive tree.
Its roots reach deep into the earth while its branches stretch toward heaven.
Like this tree,
You stand between Earth and the infinite.
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
Imagine a gentle field of radiant light resting there.
Now pushing.
Not demanding.
Simply inviting.
This is Keter.
The Crown.
The place where divine presence gently meets the human soul.
And as you inhale,
Imagine this light descending through the crown of your head.
As you exhale,
Allow it to settle into your heart.
Breathing in,
Receiving.
Breathing out,
Embodying.
Silently ask yourself,
How am I being invited to meet this moment?
Don't search for an answer.
Simply listen.
Perhaps a single word begins to arise.
Peace.
Trust.
Compassion.
Courage.
Joy.
Presence.
Or another word that belongs only to you.
Receive whatever comes without judgment.
This is your Kavana.
You're not something you force.
Something you awaken to.
With every breath,
Allow this sacred orientation to flow through your mind.
Your voice.
Your hands.
Your feet and your whole being.
Notice that nothing outside you has changed.
Yet something within has become aligned.
Like an ancient olive tree.
May your roots sink deeply into what is true.
While your life reaches upward toward the light.
Take one final slow breath.
May your heart remain open to the Divine Presence.
May your thoughts reflect wisdom.
May your words carry compassion.
May your actions become living expressions of your deepest purpose.
May this sacred awareness move from your mind into your heart.
From your heart into your body.
And from your body into the way you walk through the world.
Shalom and thank you for meditating with me.
Today.
