Welcome to this Kabbalah meditation for the month of Virgo,
Known in the Hebrew calendar as Elul.
Elul is a sacred season of return.
It's a time to pass.
Reflect.
And reconnect with what is most essential.
In Kabbalah,
Elul invites us to come home to ourselves,
To release what no longer serves us,
And remember who we truly are.
Find a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in and a slower breath out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Imagine yourself walking along a quiet path.
With each step,
You feel more present,
More grounded,
And more connected to yourself.
Ahead of you stands a great tree.
Its roots deep into the earth.
Its branches stretch toward the sky.
Strong,
Steady.
Alive.
You walk toward the tree and settle beneath its branches.
Feel the Earth supporting you.
Feel the steadiness of the tree.
Feel yourself arriving.
In the wisdom of Elul.
It is said that the Divine Presence draws especially near.
You do not need to search for it.
Like a traveler welcomed into a peaceful field,
You are invited to simply be present and receive.
Elul reminds us that we do not need to become someone new.
We simply need to return to what is already true.
Bring awareness to your heart.
Notice whatever is present.
There's nothing to fix.
Nothing to force and nothing to achieve.
Only an invitation to be honest with yourself.
Imagine a gentle light glowing within your heart.
With each breath,
The light becomes brighter,
Warmer,
And clearer.
Allow that light to shine on the places within you that are asking for attention.
Perhaps there is something you need to release.
A burden,
A worry.
An old story.
More judgment about yourself.
Simply notice.
Without resistance,
Without criticism.
With compassion.
Now ask yourself,
What am I ready to let go of?
What is calling me home to myself?
What truly matters now.
Rest quietly and listen.
There is no need to search for answers.
Trust what arises.
Trust what remains silent.
Like a tree shedding what is no longer needed.
You are allowed to release what has completed its purpose.
Take a slow breath in and silently repeat.
I return to what is true.
As you breathe out.
I release what no longer serves me.
Again.
I return to what is true.
I release what no longer serves me.
Feel the roots beneath you.
Feel the branches above you.
Feel yourself held between heaven and earth.
Feel yourself exactly where you need to be.
Rest here for a few moments in silence.
Take one final deep breath.
Offer gratitude for your journey.
Your willingness to return.
And the wisdom already living within you.
When you are ready,
Gently return your awareness to the room and slowly open your eyes.
May this month of Elul guide you back to what is essential.
Deepen your connection to your soul.
And remind you that the journey home begins within.
Shalom
