Hello and welcome to this guided new moon meditation.

Feel free to lie down if that feels good or to sit up straight.

Allow your breath to come in nice and easy,

Deep,

Belly full breaths.

With every exhale you relax more and more.

And if it feels good to you,

You're welcome to release a sigh on your exhale.

Relaxing your shoulders as you do so.

Relax your chest,

Your belly,

Your thighs,

Your feet.

Relaxing your scalp,

Your face and all your thoughts.

Allow your entire being to relax to begin.

The new moon is a time where there is no light of the moon in the sky.

It is a time of darkness.

It is a time of fertile and moist beginnings.

In this new moon period it is known that its fertile qualities give rise to the seeds you plant in this time.

Unlike a full moon which illuminates the areas inside of you that you may not see,

Bringing shadow to light.

A time more of clearing and revelation and release.

A new moon is a time of deep reflection.

A time of introspection.

A time of seeing in the dark and knowing clearly what marks the theme of your coming cycle.

What seeds are you planting for your coming cycle?

So on that note,

Just enjoy another deep breath in and a deep exhale out with a sigh.

And if you feel to,

You may close your eyes if they're not closed already and just begin to journey inwards.

In a space where everything is able to melt and to dissolve into darkness.

Any thoughts that arise at this time rise and yet fall and dissolve into deeper,

Darker waters.

Without clinging or having any dialogue to any single thought,

Allow anything and everything that is active in your consciousness to dissolve into deep darkness.

And the same now with your emotional body.

Whatever active emotions or feelings are present,

Welcome them in for what they are.

Take a moment to breathe into the body,

Into the emotional body and see if there is anything that is more alive than usual that is enhanced by this new moon time.

What are your emotions sharing with you?

What is your body speaking to you through the language of feelings and emotions?

And now whatever arises,

Allow it to be there and also realize that everything is changing and even that,

In the presence of the darkness of the moon,

Of the sky,

Even that begins to dissolve.

That any stories wrapped around this also begin to journey into deep,

Dark waters.

This doesn't mean they don't matter.

It doesn't mean that your feelings or emotions are not valid.

They are.

And yet the grip,

The story,

Detangles a little bit more until all that's left is just vibrating sensations moving through the body,

Becoming aware now of just pure sensations and vibrations moving through your body.

And now journeying deeper underneath the surface.

At new moon times you may feel an enhancement of thought,

Of imagination,

Of emotion,

Of sensation depending on where the new moon is situated in which constellation.

And see if you can go underneath all of that,

Even under the shadow to a place where everything rests in the moist fertile earth of all beginnings and endings.

A place of deep enrichment.

A place at the core of everything.

And just rest there.

And as you rest here,

Feeling and remembering the last month and the seeds you planted one month ago.

What was alive on the new moon one month ago.

And see what you've learned.

What part of you has grown?

What part of you has died?

What has decayed?

And what is sprouting?

Maybe what is growing powerfully?

From the depth of the water and even underneath all of the surface of water where you're resting deeply at your core.

Becoming aware of what is dying and what is growing and what is birthing.

And regardless of what theme you're looking at.

And based on that,

From this deep,

Dark,

Fertile ground,

What is true in your being to plant as a seed into your life over this next new moon cycle,

This next one month cycle,

Which seeds are vital to live a life on the outer world that is true to your core,

To your heart,

To your soul and to your essence.

What matters to you the most right now?

What wants and is calling for more revitalization,

Energy,

Awareness,

Love,

Nurturing?

And breathe into that.

Take a deep breath and on the exhale,

Deep sigh.

Continue to breathe into your heart,

Breathe into your womb,

Into your seed,

Into your life force.

And feeling the power that is your breath to give life and nurturing to your intention.

And feeling these beautiful seeds enwrapped and engulfed by the darkness.

The darkness that gives rise to everything in the world of light.

The roots start in the dark and the new moon is a beautiful beginning.

A time of creation in the dark.

So allow yourself now to relax in the darkness.

Maybe you wish to continue to simply journey,

Dream a bit in an incubation.

Or if you feel ready to move on,

Either to sleep or to your day,

Remember to take a few minutes before you continue with any activity.

It is done.

It is done.
