So this poem is autobiographical. I'm a female capable of growing facial hair. It's not something I've been encouraged to do and the cause is still unknown to me. I've been really afraid to share this poem with the world but from what I've learned I'm far from the only one. So, hopefully the internet world will be kind.

Hi Inside Timer community,

Thank you for being here with me today.

This is a poem I wrote called Ladybeard.

That which grows upon my face I've been told is my disgrace.

Shave it,

Wax it,

Pull it out,

Oh why can't I just be myself?

I see you grow hair by hair,

You're proud of me,

It's just not fair.

You've been a friend to many men,

But on my face you have no place.

Some say you look disgusting,

They just don't understand.

How is this so unnatural,

Or against God's master plan?

It's my body that creates you,

My body which God made.

But still it's clear that you are here,

So I must go and shave.
