A Birthday Blessing

This is a short poem I wrote for someone who I will always consider a friend. It's his birthday today (8/3) and although we haven't been in touch for over 10 years, not a day goes by that I don't think of him or offer a prayer for him. He was a ray of sunshine to all who knew him and I bet he still is.

Obviously, this is a poem I wrote a while back (8/3/2022) but I still wanted to share it. Also, I should clarify, that this person didn't pass away, due to circumstances beyond our control we lost touch.
