Stories In The Stars (Insp. By The Waltons)

This poem, especially it's title, is inspired by an episode of The Waltons I saw in which some of the Walton children were quoting their Grandfather (if I remember correctly) when he said "There are stories in the stars." The quote really moved me and I felt inspired to write. I guess I have a little bit of John-Boy in my soul lol. I dedicate this poem to the cast of The Waltons and thank all of them for the unforgettable "family time" entertainment. Love, Light, & Blessings!

Today,

I'd like to share with you a poem I wrote that was inspired by an episode of the Waltons that I watched in Season 4,

In which some of the Walton children were quoting who I believe was their grandfather when he said,

There are stories in the stars.

That being said,

The poem I'd like to share with you today is called,

Stories in the Stars.

Look up at the sky and tell me what you see.

A blanket of stars high above me.

They glisten and they glimmer,

Shining above so bright,

Bringing hope to the hopeless,

Lighting up the night.

They dance and they glow,

As they put on a show.

It's like a Van Gogh to all eyes below.
