Leo: A Poem For A Friend

This poem was inspired by someone I still consider a friend, although I haven't seen this person since 7/11/2012. This person was a friend to me during the time I wrote the poem "The Silent Wife". This person was everything a true friend should be and I will be forever grateful to that person as well as forever sorry for how everything played out. The title "Leo" comes from the astrological sign for the month of August, which is meaningful to the person this poem is about.
