This energy center,
Known as the heart chakra in ancient traditions,
Is not just a metaphorical concept but a tangible aspect of our physiological reality.
The heart is not just a pump,
But a complex system with its own network of neurons and neurotransmitters,
Often referred to as the heart-brain.
Scientific research has shown that the heart communicates with the brain in a bi-directional manner,
Influencing our thoughts,
Emotions,
Perceptions,
And overall well-being.
This connection between the heart and brain plays a crucial role in regulating our emotional state and promoting a sense of coherence and balance.
