Hi there,
My name is Anuj Potecha.
I'm a transformation coach and medium.
I'd like to welcome you to this talk today about my experiences with Reiki.
So Reiki is something that I was first introduced to at a teenage age by my family out in the United States.
And it was an uncle who would just talk about using it for his dogs.
And so he would provide Reiki for his dogs.
He's a level two and a practicing Buddhist.
I myself am a practicing Swami Narayan Hindu,
And also a Reiki practitioner.
And I've got to let you know,
It is an amazing practice for yourself and for others.
And if you're a loving person,
If you'd like to help,
If you're a service person,
You know,
Whether you're church-minded,
Or you feel like a happier,
Better person helping others.
And it is actually real.
Some more than others,
Apparently.
My teacher,
She's a Buddhist,
And her teacher is also a Buddhist in Canada.
And we have a lot of similar belief systems,
And they also actually also believe in Jesus and also believe in Hinduism.
So much like myself,
As a Hindu,
As a Swami Narayan,
I also acknowledge God,
Singular,
And both the fact that Bhagavan Swami Narayan was God,
Is real,
Sri Krishna was God,
Is real,
And Jesus,
Yes,
Is real,
And right,
Exactly.
So this is what I'm trying to say,
Is that who are we to deny what is happening if there's an explanation for it all?
And this is really something cool about Reiki and where we are in the modern age,
Is that we are able to really see how spirituality is blossoming,
Because we are in a place now where people are peaceful,
Focused on living lives,
Giving back to the economy and raising their families,
Educating themselves,
And living a life,
Just praising God and hoping for everyone to feel the special feelings that they feel about God the same way.
And so I myself feel those special feelings,
And it has resulted in me calling myself a psychic medium.
I would rather say something like Bhakti Yogi,
Because,
You know,
As Bhagavan Swami Narayan,
The Swami Narayan of Hinduism,
Miracles of all religious backgrounds,
You can see that there is a sense of goodness,
There's a sense of purity and piety with God,
And you can see that there are instances where mediumship with humans displaying powers,
And,
You know,
Let's differentiate God for a second.
So people have a hard time understanding and appreciating God as an avatar,
But that same God is everywhere,
All the places,
And also in His heavenly abode,
And that those two things,
Those two ways is Akshara Purusha,
And that's what I say God as Akshara Purusha,
And it's a lot more than that.
It's a beautiful reality that I want to share,
And a very clear explanation of how God can be real,
Present everywhere that things are the way they are,
Because let's just say we have three worlds,
There's a lot of other divine beings that have three world issues,
So avatars come to help and guide the way,
As representatives of God being something far greater than what can be seen,
But also it's beautiful to say you are made in my form,
Even though I'm not grand in these many ways,
You are still represented by God in that way,
But this is something two arms and two legs divine,
Never aging,
Made of divine light and divinity,
God-like,
And that's life in actual fact.
Even though that's still made in the image,
It's not human,
I would say being of flesh and bone and being of divine conscious,
Let's just say like divinity light,
Like see-through,
Being able to be larger than a universe,
Like the universe would be an atomic in size,
So I just try to say that,
You know,
Imagine when people talk about Reiki,
They get into spirit guides,
As my teachers do,
And I also acknowledge that I'm on a lecture this summer,
Because I do a course on that,
I'm working on that as well,
You can check that out,
But that's a big key about reality,
Souls and other divine beings are part of reality,
And so it brings them together,
Even what the ancient Greeks and the Greeks have felt about different gods of,
Like,
Gods of fire and gods of air,
And so these types of things,
We have Agni and Vayu,
These types of Ishas and Devas in Hinduism,
So the universe in reality is much grander than what we are really pleasantly able to see in a sphere that we can't even jump maybe five feet off the ground,
Right,
And so there's a lot going on and we're able to get a lot of insight into all this,
So thanks to that,
I've always had faith,
I've always believed in God being everywhere and being able to commune with God within,
And so being a Reiki practitioner,
I've had some very profound,
Loud experiences for myself and for others,
I've seen miracles happen in life and I'm excited to share all that with you too,
And I've had some really great teachers who have expected miracles from their students and are really,
Really high standard individuals that I thank them from afar and say,
Keep it up,
You know,
We're all doing good work here,
And so what's amazing about my Reiki experience is that as someone that approached it in my now later life,
When I came back from something that was something to try,
And it just came to me,
And so,
You know,
I feel like sometimes things are inspired within,
And that's how we see God in Hinduism and in Swaminarayan is Antaryami,
And that means both witness and inspire,
And so,
And you have to know that what God does inspire and what God doesn't inspire,
And that's the good things and not the negative things,
Not the mayic things in life,
Lower-minded or anger-based and these types of things,
And so Reiki is very positive,
And it's love-based,
And it's God-based,
And it's forgiveness-based,
And it's based on connecting individuals with themselves as the soul and God being real,
And being able to receive messages,
And being able to be the facilitator and the actual entire body as the mechanism of Reiki energy to pass through,
And people say,
How is that actually even possible?
It's like,
Well,
First off,
God is real,
God is everywhere,
And the energy that is God,
That being everywhere,
Akshara,
And worship them,
That really is what is giving life to you also being present and invisibly there while you're living,
And visibly not there while you're dead,
Because you're now in another body that's moving around in matter.
So,
It really comes down to,
Yes,
If you believe in God being there,
Yes,
If you believe in God being within the other person,
And then being in a place of relationship and positivity of knowing and God for goodness,
And those are the things that I'm happy to express with GYSHA,
Maya,
Akshara,
And Parabrahman,
And the life and teachings of Bhagavan Sarnath,
And as an example of God,
You can really see goodness and helping out humanity and society and a life of service.
So,
Let's get to the special bits.
I've witnessed some very special,
Amazing things.
Before I get on to myself,
I'll tell you about a time where I did a distance Reiki treatment with my teacher as a level two,
Early level two.
This was during COVID,
So she was in Scarborough,
Ontario,
Canada.
I was in Etobicoke,
Ontario,
Canada,
And we did a voice call distance Reiki session,
And in this session,
She did the Reiki.
I felt it.
She was able to express that she was able to really pick up certain things,
And one of the most special aspects of this was that near the end,
That week,
I was actually having a cut at the bottom right of my heel,
And just from afar,
Without no mention of it,
She was able to pick it up using distance Reiki at the end,
Saying,
Hey,
I'm doing something at the bottom right of your foot.
It's like something's going on there.
I'm sending extra Reiki there,
And that's really nice to hear that it was that real in that way,
And then,
Of course,
Within that week,
That heel was much better.
My own experiences have been very loud from level one,
And it's getting louder at level two,
So I think that's the graciousness of it,
Because to get to a point of being a non-believer or a semi-believer,
To a full-on,
You're practically always in the presence of angels or guides or God,
In my opinion,
As well,
And to bring that up to people that have questions about that,
You're also in the presence of issuers that are omniscient,
And also in the presence of God,
One,
Parabrahman,
Bhagavan Samanarayana,
In my opinion,
And so this is something that I wish to share to everyone,
And this is explanations for all these things in such a beautiful way of how can any representative of God be something that can be seen again in the same way if they weren't pre-planned to be the way that we were in the first place,
Or if God didn't control every molecule to make them look a certain way in the first place.
What does that mean to everyone?
It's like,
Well,
It means any avatar who existed before they showed up and existed after they left,
And it's because God controls every molecule,
And so it's to be able to get to a beautiful perspective of being in the presence of something so grand as God,
And in being so involved in creation,
And at the same time being able to acknowledge the involvement of other divine beings in involving creation grander than a human,
Such as angels,
So this is really something that's cool that you start to actually experience,
And for me,
It was part of my path first entering the Reiki practice that then made me a psychic medium full-on,
Because I got a platform and an environment to practice,
And my teacher also made it clear to have a thousand dollar prerequisite to level three,
Where you have to do a psychic medium,
Well,
A psychic course that included mediumship,
But other aspects of psychic work,
So I'll talk about that separately,
But it definitely helped in being able to be a better Reiki practitioner using your psychic skills,
And my teacher would also differentiate the fact that psychic work and Reiki is two separate things,
Reiki being somebody here that is able to be an actual tool,
Like the body facilitate energy coming through and out the hands,
And that's because God is everywhere,
And that energy can be initiated by God in abundance in anywhere,
Any point anywhere,
And so it is to trust that God is the one that is doing everything for our well-being,
No matter how bleak it seems,
And the things happen when you take medicine,
And we do good things,
And when you're around good people,
And all of it counts for any disbelievers on Reiki,
Positive thinking,
Positive words,
Having faith,
Eating right,
And praying,
And exercising,
And breath work,
And all of it works,
And you should expect that from your Reiki practitioner,
And that's what I was raised in,
Thankfully,
To the very sacred path of Vedanta,
And I go to the Mandir every day,
And being around these like holy saints that live their lives praying,
And meditating,
And reaching higher states of life,
And living,
And you could see I was always a believer,
Because through the life and teachings just 300 years ago,
I think it's important for everyone to know that,
At least through me,
And they can expect that through me,
To share that,
And they should come here to hear about it,
That there were so many saints,
And individuals that reached sacred,
Divine,
Like mystic capabilities,
Of so many more ways other than mediumship,
That I was always a believer of just what a human could do,
And how that's still separate from a representative of God,
Like an avatar,
And what really,
When you know an avatar of God,
Like Guru Granth Sahib,
Or Sri Krishna,
Or any other one that you want to mention,
You can know how,
You can know them through one,
I'll tell you one,
Through their celibacy,
And that's especially how you'll know God,
And that's a beautiful thing,
Because God being present in everyone,
Within everyone,
Indestructible,
But also aware of how any of the devotees feel at any given time,
What they're feeling,
How much they're hurting,
Or whatever's going on with them,
Right,
So God doesn't want to,
Let's not get into it,
Yes,
You'll know them through their celibacy,
All of them,
And so that's a beautiful thing to just ponder upon,
I think,
I'm kind of standing up here for Sri Krishna,
So I think it's good to say,
But I thank you,
Guru Granth Sahib,
For living a life in such a way,
And that's in itself so hard,
And God talks about it all the time,
So you know,
As a Reiki practitioner,
I'm the type of person,
As a male as well,
To really want to be aware that a lot of the patients,
A lot of the people that come for Reiki therapy are females,
And you know,
More males should do it,
They should feel comfortable,
And I think if you knew yourself as a spiritual being,
And if you knew good people,
Spiritual people that would help you along the way,
It's okay to transform along the way,
And I'll help you with that,
It's okay to be somebody's before,
Who was maybe more hardened,
And laughing at it,
And then feeling like,
Wow,
Like I'm a believer,
And it's helped me,
And I feel like a good person,
And I don't need to feel burdened by my past,
Like in this life,
Or other past lives,
Because I'm going to be something so much greater,
So to bring this type of energy,
And to be this type of person is what connects the angels to you,
So to give you some more special moments I've heard,
And why I bought a mediumship before,
Is because I got to a point where I started to feel taps,
And words,
And started,
My clears got louder,
And got developed,
I got a tap right there on the top of my right shoulder,
So my angels just want to say,
I love you,
You're all good,
God loves you,
We're all welcome to continue to live our lives the way we want,
And it's important to know that I myself,
I'm not just a representative,
I'm just trying to help share reality in a divine way,
Through recent history,
That it brings everyone together,
It brings it all together,
Why do we have to fight about reincarnation,
Or the soul,
Or us being the soul,
And you know,
Like Jesus being real,
And why do we have to fight about that when it's all real,
Even Bhagavan Samadhi,
So I just want you to know that,
You know,
You are the light,
It's all explained,
I'm so excited to share with you the fact that we are never separate from God,
And God is both the light,
And the source of the light,
And both formless,
And in form,
And one,
And singular,
And omnipresent,
And antaryami,
And so many beautiful things too,
Just know that I want to share,
Even through this talk about Reiki,
A little joy right now,
And I'll put in Reiki symbols,
Panchazation,
So greetings to all those of us who are present,

And may all your energy be lifted right now,
And may any and all Reiki energy be light,
Just feel that Reiki energy,
Just feeling all of that now coming on,
And I coughed,
I mean in fact,
I really did,

Reiki is real,
Angels are real,
I started to experience so many moments,
And I want to,
I think,

But for the sake of Reiki,
For the sake of life and divinity,
And all things sacred and special,
I want to share just moments that people get to feel for real,
