Satpurush (સત્પુરુષ) means “eternally true being”—one who is perfectly divine and forever united with God. In Akshar-Purushottam Vedanta, the Satpurush is the visible form of Aksharbrahman—the eternal, formless reality beyond time and space, and the ideal devotee of God. This track invites you to reflect on the Satpurush, the perfect guru who is fully liberated and able to guide others to moksha (liberation). More than a saint, the Satpurush is the divine link to God, the spiritual axis of the universe, through whom God’s grace flows into the lives of seekers. In this meditation, go beyond form and illusion to connect with the eternal presence that listens not only to the prayers of humans but even of higher celestial beings. To know the Satpurush is to walk the most direct path to divine realization. Let this reflection guide your heart toward stillness, clarity, and God.

Sat Purush is a sacred Sanskrit term composed of two words.

Sat meaning truth,

Eternal or pure existence,

And Purush meaning being,

Soul or person.

Together,

Sat Purush refers to the eternally true being,

One who is perfectly divine and fully established in oneness with God.

To grasp the stature of the Sat Purush,

One must look beyond the soul and human form.

Imagine for a moment beings far more spiritually elevated than humans,

Demigods,

Ishwars,

Angels,

Those who hear and respond to the prayers of countless devotees across time and space.

Even above these celestial beings,

There exists an eternal consciousness,

An awakened divine entity who remains beside God,

Perfectly attuned not only to the prayers of all beings,

But to the thoughts of even these higher divine beings.

That highest consciousness,

Eternally free from maya,

Ever established in God,

Is the Sat Purush,

Akshar Brahman.

In Akshar Purushatam Vedanta,

The Sat Purush is the embodiment of Akshar Brahman,

The formless,

All-pervading aspect of God.

Akshar Brahman is the eternal,

Unchanging reality that exists everywhere,

Beyond time and space,

And is the divine abode and ideal devotee of God,

Bhagavan Purushatam.

The Sat Purush is the visible,

Manifest form of this infinite truth.

He is the perfect Guru,

Fully liberated and able to liberate others.

He is the living link to God,

Guiding souls towards moksha through association and instruction.

And he is the ideal devotee,

Who eternally worships and serves Bhagavan,

And teaches others to do the same.

To know the Sat Purush is to walk the most direct path to divine realization.

He is not merely a saint or teacher.

He is the spiritual axis of the universe,

Right below God,

And the one through whom God's grace flows fully and personally into the lives of seekers.
