I just came out of the sea after a nice and chill swim.
It's early September in Norway and it is a kind of late summer,
Early autumn.
It's just such a beautiful moment.
I'm sitting here on a rock.
I'm looking out on the sea.
I have two squirrels that are having fun in a tree right here.
And there is a catamaran out there.
There are sailboats.
There is a small water plane over my head,
As you can hear.
So I am in the middle of life.
And I would like to share with you something today.
Okay.
I just let the plane go by.
I would like to share It's like something I'm moving back and forth between my usual state of mind or being and a new state of being and state of mind.
And the reason is that I have listened a lot to rammed us lately.
He has,
And he's not alive anymore,
But his work still lives on.
And I'm listening to his podcast called Here and Now.
I think that was also the title of a book that he wrote.
And listening to talks and the light way of sharing,
The way he does,
Brings me into such a beautiful place in myself.
And I'm actually now kind of investigating.
Different ways of being present in my own body,
Under my own skin and with the people around me.
Because it struck me that most of the time I'm either caught in my own stream of thoughts,
Or I am preoccupied with something from the outside coming in.
It can be from people around me,
It can be news,
It can be something I'm reading.
Or something I'm watching,
A movie,
Whatever.
So I'm either.
.
.
Being entertained from the outside or I'm being entertained from the inside.
Because my own stories about life is also a kind of entertainment.
And since I have practiced so much yoga in my life,
I just know that I am made of,
And you are made of,
Something really blissful.
And that when I come in contact with that blissful nature of mine,
My being,
Beingness,
My is-ness,
This open,
Peaceful,
Just being place,
Of life.
There's nothing missing and I'm just happy being alive.
I don't need a deeper meaning,
I don't need it.
Something amazing to happen to me.
I don't need my expectations to be fulfilled.
I just,
I'm just so 100% content.
And the funny thing is that.
.
.
I spent very little time there.
And that was my kind of realization,
How little time I spend.
In that beautiful moment.
Part of me.
Instead,
I am seeking something that it's like I don't have yet what is needed for me to be perfectly fine.
There is always this searching.
Always on my way,
Away from something uncomfortable or towards something that will make me more comfortable than right now.
So the last days I have been Letting go of my thoughts and not Grab the phone to entertain myself.
I,
For example,
Can just.
.
.
Focus because the attention has a lot to do with it.
So I bring my attention towards my own being.
Without thinking about it at the same time.
I'm just being in it with my whole,
With full focus.
It's a kind of meditation,
But I'm not stopping what I'm doing.
I'm not trying to make something happen.
I'm just bringing my attention in to whatever or wherever i am and then trying or practicing being in myself without stories.
And it's fascinating how quick the stories.
.
.
Takes over.
And how much I am driven.
By my own mental stories about life,
Instead of soaking myself right into the juice of the aliveness of this moment right now.
And it means that there is a part of me.
That does not trust that what I am is fulfilling.
There is a part of me that feels.
And think that the truth is that there is something more I need to attain or provide.
Or add.
For my being or me to be joyful or content or happy.
Or at ease.
It's funny also that the word disease is coming from like that we are out of ease.
And being in ease.
Is the kind of opposite of being.
Ew.
Of being out of balance.
Because it brings my attention,
Brings me back to my fullness.
And when the fullness is experienced,
With awareness,
Consciously.
Something is falling into place.
Which is absolutely so great.
I don't know what word I can use.
It just takes away all the stress of.
.
.
The mind,
The mind,
My mind is.
.
.
Always.
Missing something.
Longing for something.
Criticizing something.
Hoping for something different.
Planning ahead.
I'm sure you know.
How it works.
And then the funny thing about it is that,
But not the funny thing,
But I have let that part of me.
.
.
Drive most of my life.
Not in the yoga room but now i'm investigating how to bring this e-SINAS.
Into my real life.
Where I have the real people around me,
The ones that I am.
Emotionally and physically and everything involved in all planes.
Because the people I have in my yoga room There is a lot of.
.
.
Warmth and appreciation and thankfulness.
But at the same time,
I know that these people do not trigger me in any way.
In the ways that the people I have close to me at home do.
So in that way it's not a real situation.
It's a beautiful room and we share amazing moments.
But the real work is home.
So this,
That's what I'm training on.
To be in what I am in.
To be aware and conscious about my body,
My senses.
And to drop all the stories.
And to also just take moments.
Or more than moments,
Many moments.
To just be.
To just be.
It is such a support and strength.
And actually love,
It's love.
There is I'm saying to life that I just love you because what I love I want to be with.
I want to be with what I love.
And when I'm constantly away from my own being.
I'm saying to myself.
Sideways.
That I don't love you,
You are not interesting enough,
You are not valuable enough.
There's so much other things that are much more interesting.
I want to come back to my own being and say with my way of being and living that I love you.
I appreciate you.
I choose you.
I prioritize you.
Because remember that my attention,
My awareness and attention and focus is the absolutely most important.
Thing I have.
That is what decides what I am experiencing.
That is what is telling me back that this is important.
This is valuable.
So the craziness is that I spend or we spend as humans because I'm not alone.
We spent hours after hour after hour.
Focusing on everything else except our own being.
No,
No.
Wonder,
No wonder,
That we Suffer.
And that our bodies feel depleted.
Without energy or that we get out of our own balance.
So I guess my message today is spending more time with our being,
My being.
Is a very good idea.
Thanks a lot for listening and.
.
.
I wish you a beautiful day.
