Hello.

Welcome to Inviting Calm and this meditation that was inspired by pre-dawn and the color indigo.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Whatever is your practice.

Eyes may be closed or soften their gaze.

Settling in.

Observing how your body connects with the surface beneath you,

Supporting you,

Holding you,

Just observing how your body feels,

Your breath,

No need to change it,

Just noticing the natural rhythm of your breathing,

Just allowing it to be flowing effortlessly without any force.

Inhales and exhales,

Just settling in and I invite you to imagine the quiet beauty of the pre-dawn hours,

Embracing the indigo hues of the pre-dawn,

Envisioning the sky transitioning from the deep indigo to soft shades of pink and orange,

Signaling the arrival of the sun.

Imagine yourself surrounded by this gentle light,

The symbol of new beginnings and clarity.

And before the light comes,

There's this powerful indigo.

Feel the indigo light gently bracing you,

Tracing you down,

Feeling it along your body,

This beautiful indigo soothing your forehead,

Your eyes,

Releasing any tension in your jaw,

Breathing in and out,

Beautiful indigo,

Various hues of the pre-dawn,

Inviting the indigo light to relax your neck and shoulders,

Flowing down your arms and fingertips,

This sense of ease,

Feel it moving down your chest,

Your abdomen,

Your back,

Inviting the indigo to go wherever needed,

Releasing any tightness or discomfort,

And continue breathing in the end of the indigo,

Exhaling the indigo,

Allowing the light to expand into your hips,

Your thighs,

Allowing the light to envelop your feet,

Feeling this indigo light.

The indigo sky whispers the promise of a new day,

Inviting us to embrace its tranquility and the potential it holds within,

Just breathing in that indigo,

The indigo light inviting the sense of awakening and opening to the powers of it,

And exhaling anything that doesn't serve you.

Ma Joya Sat Bhagavati reminds us that quiet the mind and the soul will speak.

Allow yourself to quiet your mind,

Picturing this color indigo,

The indigo of the pre-dawn,

The moments before the new day is arriving,

Where the beauty of the darkness is still there with light shining through,

This nurturing indigo light.

Allow yourself to embrace the qualities.

Indigo is said to represent wisdom,

Intuition,

And inner peace.

Allow it to nurture you,

Washing over you,

Picturing this pre-dawn sky,

The various hues of indigo,

Breathing it in,

Letting it go,

Inviting the awakening and the power of indigo,

The soothing indigo energy flowing through your body,

Cleansing and revitalizing every cell,

Just awakening and deepening your inner being,

Raising intuition,

Spiritual awakening,

Again reminding us the words of Ma Joya Sat Bhagavati,

Reminding us that quiet the mind and the soul will speak.

When you're ready,

I invite you to gently bring awareness back to the present moment,

Taking in a deep breath in,

Exhaling slowly,

Inviting movement back into your body,

Gently wiggling your toes and fingers,

Perhaps stretching,

Just noticing how your body feels.

If your eyes are closed,

Gently fluttering them open.

And before you transition back to your day,

Just take a few more breaths,

Honoring this time you've dedicated to yourself,

And allow yourself to carry the tranquility of the pre-dawn hours,

Guiding you throughout your day ahead.

Thank you for inviting calm into your day.
