Hello,
Welcome to this guided meditation for resilience and self-trust.
I invite you to take a moment to arrive exactly as you are.
You don't need to be at your best today.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
Only need to be here.
Breathing and listening.
Remembering that you have already made it through so much.
There may have been moments you did not think you could handle.
Days that felt uncertain.
Times when you had to begin again.
And yet,
Here you are.
Still here.
Still growing.
Still becoming.
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
Either seated or lying down.
To allow yourself to be held.
The chair or bed or ground beneath you.
Wherever you are seated or lying down.
Feeling the support.
And if it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
I invite you to take a slow breath in through your nose.
And then let it go through your mouth,
A long,
Easy exhale.
Again.
Breathing in through your nose.
And out your mouth.
Once one more time.
Breathing in.
And then when you exhale,
Try to have your exhale a little bit longer than your inhale.
One more time.
Breathing in.
Making space within.
And I didn't breathe out,
Releasing the need to rush.
And then returning to your own natural rhythm of breathing.
You do not have to make it deeper.
You do not have to make a call.
Just let it be as it is.
Let it remind you that you are here.
Now,
I invite you to bring your awareness to the places where your body meets what is supporting you.
Feel the weight of your body.
Feel the steadiness beneath you.
Noticing your feet.
Your legs.
A.
M.
With your support ear.
Imagine roots gently extending down from the base of your body.
Not heavy roads.
Not roots that keep you stuck.
But quiet,
Steady roots.
That help you feel grounded.
Roots that remind you that you can bend without breaking.
You can move through change.
You can meet what comes.
You can return to yourself again and again.
And then taking a breath in.
And as you take this breath in,
Just feeling the expanse.
And then as you breathe out.
Feel yourself settling a little bit more deeply into the support beneath you.
To try that again.
Breathing in.
Feeling the expanse of your lungs and belly.
And then breathing out,
Settling in a little bit more deeply,
Feeling the supports beneath you.
And then returning to your own natural rhythm of breathing.
Strength is not always allowed.
It's not always about pushing through.
Sometimes strength is resting when you need rest.
Sometimes it is asking for help.
Sometimes it is choosing to begin again.
And sometimes it's simply getting through one moment.
On Brad.
One day at a time.
Your strength may not always look the way you imagined it would.
But it is there.
It is in the ways you have kept going.
It is in the ways you have learned.
It is in the ways you have softened and still continued.
You do not need to prove your strength.
You only need to remember him.
If it feels okay,
I invite you to bring a time when you move through something difficult.
You do not need to revisit every detail.
Just notice that there was a time when life asked something hard of you.
And somehow,
In your own way,
You made it through.
Perhaps you found courage you did not know you had.
Perhaps you've found support.
Perhaps you took one small step at a time.
We simply did not give up.
Allow yourself to acknowledge that part of your story.
Not with pressure.
Not with the expectation that you must always be strong.
But with honesty.
You have been through things.
And you're still here.
Resting in that.
Recalling that.
I invite you to repeat the following affirmation either silently or out loud.
Whichever feels right for you.
Let us begin.
Every day,
I grow in resilience and self-trust.
Allowing those words to settle softly within you.
To repeat again.
Every day,
I grow in resilience and self-trust.
Feeling the support beneath you.
The breath moving through you.
And I invite you to repeat one final time.
Every day,
I grow in resilience and self-trust.
I invite you to take a moment to notice how those words feel.
Maybe you feel steadiness.
Or tenderness.
Maybe there's uncertainty.
Maybe there is a small spark of possibility.
Whatever is here is welcome.
There is no right or wrong.
Now imagine yourself standing beside a strong,
Quiet tree.
Its trunk is steady.
Its roots reach deeply into the earth.
As branches move with the wind.
The tree does not resist every breeze.
It does not need to.
Its ways.
It adapts.
It bends.
And when the wind becomes still.
It remains.
Let this tree remind you of your own quiet resilience.
You too have roots.
You too can be supported.
You too can bend through change without losing who you are.
Feel the strength of the earth beneath you.
The openness above you.
And allow yourself to rest between the two.
Grounded.
Rolling.
Becoming stronger in your own time.
And allow the following phrases to wash through you slowly.
You don't need to force anything.
Just receive what you can.
As you rest in the quiet strength within you,
Allow these words to arise gently.
May I trust the strength I have already built.
May I meet challenges with patience and courage.
May I believe in my ability to begin again.
May I grow stronger with every step I take.
Allowing the words to settle.
Perhaps noticing the warmth or steadiness that they may bring.
And as I repeat them again,
You can let them wash over you.
Or you may decide to repeat silently or out loud the phrases.
May I trust the strength I have already built.
May I meet challenges with patience and courage.
May I believe in my ability to begin again.
May I grow stronger with every step I take.
Feeling that steadiness beneath you.
The strength that does not need to be forced.
And as I say the words again,
Allow the words to sink a little deeper,
Like roots binding the earth.
May I trust the strength I have already built.
May I meet challenges with patience and courage.
May I believe in my ability to begin again.
May I grow stronger with every step I take.
Just allow these phrases to rest gently within you,
Letting them be in awe.
I invite you to bring one hand to your heart that feels comfortable or on your belly.
And feel the warmth of your own touch.
The rise and fall of your breath.
Reminding yourself.
Every day I grow in resilience and self-trust.
Allow the words to become a quiet promise to yourself.
Remembering every day I grow in resilience and self-trust.
Letting those words settle.
Not as a demand to be stronger.
Reflecting feelings.
Every day I grow in resilience and self-trust.
Recognizing that you are growing.
You are learning.
You are becoming.
I invite you to take a slow inhale in through your nose.
And then a long grounding exhale noticing the support beneath you.
Noticing how your body feels.
And then inviting gentle movement back into your body.
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes if they're closed.
I invite you to carry this with you into the rest of your day.
You do not have to rush to grow.
You do not have to prove your strength.
You have made it through so much already.
And that strength is still with you.
