Welcome to this meditation.
Today we will spend some time connecting with our bodies and any areas that may have felt unwell or in pain.
When we attend to ourselves in a compassionate way,
We strengthen the relationship between our mind,
Body,
And soul.
Fostering this relationship will bring about a positive change in our total well-being.
Because where one is lacking,
Another cannot reach its full potential.
There are many things that contribute to pain.
Attuning our energy towards these areas,
We can breathe new life and healing where it is most needed.
Roll back your shoulders gently,
Tuck your chin down,
And rest your hands comfortably in your lap.
Gently close your eyes.
Let's take a couple of deep breaths to relax the body.
Breathe in through the nose deeply,
And breathe out through the mouth completely.
Take a long,
Deep breath in,
And release the breath out slowly,
Letting it all go,
Your exhale being slightly longer than the inhale.
Once you are comfortable,
Relaxed,
And in a safe place,
Allow the breath to settle,
Giving your body back the breath.
Notice how you feel mentally,
Physically,
Spiritually,
But these three are all interconnected.
Notice any thoughts that are present,
Feelings,
And emotions.
Picture them as clouds floating by.
Notice judgment,
Any doubt,
Tensions.
These are clouds passing by.
You are just present with whatever cloud may pass by in this moment.
Being gentle and compassionate with yourself,
Just notice what's on the surface.
Now,
Notice your body's existence,
Your physical body,
Heavy in its spot.
Say the following words as you connect with your physical body,
I am with you.
If you're able,
Say this out loud,
I am with you.
If you're unable to,
Say it in your mind and with your energy,
I am with you now.
Relax your shoulders and release all of your efforts.
Relax the discomfort saying,
I am with you.
We will apologize to any areas of our body that often feel unwell or currently feel pain.
Maybe it is your neck.
Maybe it is your hips,
Your feet,
Legs,
Or back.
Gently say the following words out loud if you are able or energetically,
I'm sorry that I've ignored you during the course of the busyness of life,
I am with you.
With loving kindness and compassion,
Direct your energy and your words to these areas of the body that may often give you problems in the physical,
I am with you now.
I apologize for when the world was too busy for me to focus on you then,
But I am with you now.
Keeping your attention on the physical areas that may often feel unwell and imagine now there is a very gentle ray of golden light right above your head.
Your eyes may slightly roll back as they do when you're nearing sleep.
This is your eyes looking up to greet this gentle ray of light.
This gentle golden ray of light above your head is now beginning to pour down the body slowly flowing from the top of your head down towards your back,
Legs,
And feet.
This golden energy light is softening the areas that are often unwell or currently feel pain.
This flowing light of energy is flowing where it is needed most.
Comforting these forgiving areas and soothing you,
Softening the unwell areas.
This flowing golden light is comforting you and soothing you.
Softening you and traveling through each cell of your body,
Especially the unwell areas.
This golden light is healing the parts that need healing.
Directly following the words and energy that you just brought your attention to.
Now set the intention with your mental energy and your soul energy that the body is going to match the soul.
The mind and the body are all connected with the soul matching the energy of this flowing golden light.
The golden light says I am with you.
The unwell parts soften and say I forgive you.
The mind understands that the attention it gives to these parts will bring about well-being in the physical body even during the busyness of life.
This healing energy is always available to you.
You can return to this space anytime you feel the physical body is asking for healing energy.
You now have the intention that the healing taking place today will carry with you into the physical as you gently wiggle your toes to signal to the body it is time to refocus and come back to the physical body.
The healing light is now fully absorbed within you.
It is part of you and it is with you now.
Carry this light in your heart and cherish it.
Grow it with meditation and with practice and acknowledgement.
This healing light energy is always with you and available to you.
