Find a comfortable position.
Allow your hands to rest softly in your lap,
One cradling the other.
Close your eyes or allow your eyes to gaze softly down at the floor.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose,
Gently exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in calm and breathe out the tension of the day.
Inhale peace and exhale anything you've been carrying up until this moment.
Bring your awareness to this moment,
And as you meditate today,
Keep your mind focused inside,
Finding that light inside of you.
Slowly allow yourself to be immersed in the light inside of you.
Become absorbed within yourself in this moment.
Allow the body to rest.
Allow your body to control your breathing.
Bring your awareness to this moment.
There is nothing to solve.
There is nothing to plan.
There is nothing to fix.
Just breathe in this moment,
Just this space.
Becoming absorbed within yourself,
The light is within you.
You are safe here.
You can return to this space within yourself in this present moment at any time.
Say to yourself inside,
I am safe in this moment.
I am relaxed in this moment.
I can trust myself.
I trust my body to do my breathing.
I trust the light inside myself to guide me forward.
In this moment,
I am safe.
In this moment,
I am calm.
My inner light brings me peace.
My inner light illuminates the way.
Whatever I need in the future,
I will be guided by my inner light.
What has come is gone.
There is nothing to fix.
There is now and this space.
I trust myself.
I trust my light.
I will move forward in peace and calmness.
I will return to this space at any time that I need guidance.
Peace is not out there.
The way is not out there.
Peace is inside this light.
The way is through this light.

And I can return to this safe space at any time that I should need to.
