Welcome.
If you're listening to this,
You likely have an interview coming up.
Perhaps you're feeling nervous,
Excited,
Uncertain,
Or maybe all three.
Today,
We'll use EFT tapping as an opportunity to settle the body,
Acknowledge what's present,
And gently shift into a mindset of confidence,
Curiosity,
And self-trust.
An interview isn't only an opportunity for someone else to decide whether you are a good fit.
It's also an opportunity for you to explore whether this role,
This team,
And this company are aligned with your values,
Needs,
And goals.
Let's begin!
Please repeat the following three setup statements as you tap the side of your hand,
The squishy part on the outer side of your hand.
Even though I'm nervous about this interview.
And I want it to go well.
Eye deeply and completely.
Love,
And accept myself.
Even though a part of me worries.
About being judged or rejected.
I appreciate that I was invited here for a reason.
Even though I don't know exactly how this interview will go.
I choose to trust myself and remain open to whatever unfolds.
Now we'll begin with round one of tapping.
Begin tapping the top of the head.
Right below the crease.
And repeat after me.
I'm feeling nervous.
Eyebrow point right in the beginning of the eyebrow along the bone.
I really want this opportunity.
Side of eye along the bone.
I can feel it in my body.
Under eye along the bone.
What if I say the wrong thing?
Under your nose.
What if I forget something important?
Chin,
I don't know what will happen.
Right below the clavicle along the collarbone.
This nervous feeling.
The thymus in the middle of the chest.
This activated energy.
Back of the neck.
Just noticing what's here.
Keep breathing in and out.
Under the armpit about four inches down below the arm,
Allowing myself to breathe.
Tap your wrists together.
I don't have to fight this feeling.
Top of head.
I can simply be present.
And bring your hand down and take a deep breath with me through in through the nose.
Hold for a moment at the top and exhale out of the mouth.
Begin on the top of the head again for round two.
I was selected for an interview.
Beginning of eyebrow.
Someone saw value in my experience.
Side of I,
I am qualified enough to be here.
Under eye,
This interview is a conversation.
Under nose,
I'm learning about them too.
Chin Do they align with my values?
Collarbone point.
Do they support their employees?
The thymus,
Middle of chest.
Would I enjoy working with these people?
Back of the neck.
This isn't only about them choosing me.
4 inches below the armpit.
I'm deciding if they're a good fit too.
Wrists together.
I bring my own set of skills,
Experience,
And perspective.
Top of head.
Any team would be fortunate.
To have someone who genuinely cares.
Bring your hand down when you're done and take a deep breath with me in through the nose.
Hold at the top and exhale through the mouth.
We'll go ahead and begin with round three by tapping on the top of the head.
And repeat after me.
If this opportunity is aligned for me.
Eyebrow point.
I'll do my best to meet it.
Side of eye.
And if it isn't?
Under I,
Something better can still unfold.
Under nose.
What's meant for me won't require me to betray myself.
Chin.
What's meant for me can find its way to me.
Collarbone point.
I don't need to be perfect.
Thymus and chest.
I only need to be myself.
The back of your neck.
I trust myself.
Below the armpit,
Four inches down.
I trust my preparation.
Wrists together.
I trust my ability to adapt.
Top of head.
And I trust that I will be okay either way.
Go ahead and take a slow breath in with me.
And exhale.
Feel your feet on the floor,
On whatever surface they are on.
You are connected and a part of this earth.
Remember that you already accomplished something important.
You applied,
You prepared,
You received the interview.
Now your only job is to show up as yourself.
Curious,
Present,
Open,
And trusting that what is truly aligned with you does not have to be chased.
Thank you for tapping with me and I wish you a wonderful interview.
You got this.
