The practice of building self-trust.
Because I know that you are so done with second-guessing every decision that you make.
Because I know that you are tired of living from a place that limits your beliefs.
And because I know that you are so ready to start trusting in who you are and what you are here to do.
Trust me,
I know.
I know the longing and the ache that you feel to break free from the voice within you that stops you from showing up as who you really are.
Without a constant trail of second-guessing.
I know that the ache of your heart wants to run free in a world of possibilities that are boundless,
Free from self-limitations.
A world where your mind allows you.
Building trust,
First and foremost in the body,
That then feeds into your heart,
Where the two live in a sense of harmony.
I know that you long for a place in your heart that feels assured,
That feels confident and that feels ready.
Take a breath now that starts to orbit around your whole body,
As though the wide span of space around you drinks up the intention of what trust can really feel like.
As though you're untying the knots,
The stability that it brings to trust and the assurance that it holds.
No more will we let this be something outside of ourselves.
No more will we question every decision.
No more will we look in the mirror and see an unfinished version of ourselves.
Building the capacity to trust in yourself in this life.
Let's build a vision as I invite you to close down your eyelids,
Pay attention to your body.
And now to the backs of your eyelids,
Being with the darkness just for a moment,
As we take moments to acknowledge the version of you that is trying,
That is showing up.
That shows up even in the storm,
Even in the whirlwind.
The version of you that can almost taste the other side.
I know that that's something you long for,
But we build these blocks securely and we don't rush.
Almost like brick by brick,
We take our time.
Just like when we build a house,
We require laying down the foundations to ensure the stability of our structure.
This is you too.
Firm your roots,
Firm your feet just by taking a long deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As though to breathe in trust and to breathe out mistrust.
As though to breathe in trust and out self-doubt.
As though each inhalation knits in together what trust truly feels like.
The trusting of you in this life,
The trusting of your decisions,
The trusting of your heart,
The trusting of each feeling,
Each emotion that arises.
I know that you long to build self-trust.
I know that you long for this to be a practice that you show up to each day that requires nothing.
Nothing but presence,
Nothing but acknowledgement and nothing but love and compassion that it becomes part of you,
Building self-trust as a practice every day,
Even every moment.
So as I said before,
No more will we let this be something outside of ourselves.
No more will we question every decision and no more will we look in the mirror and see an unfinished version of ourselves.
Building the capacity to trust in yourself in this life.
