Hello sweet soul,
Welcome to your daily meditation.
My name is Julianne Arce and I'll be your guide during this time.
I invite you to find a comfortable place where you can just be.
Once you're there,
I invite you to take a slow breath in and a soft breath out and let your body settle in the way that feels most natural to you.
There is nowhere you need to get to right now,
Nothing you need to improve.
Just allow yourself to arrive.
Feel the surface beneath you,
The quiet support that is already here.
Let your shoulders drop just a little,
Let the jaw soften,
And let the tongue rest gently in the mouth.
Take another slow breath in and an exhale out.
Tonight,
Or today,
This is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It is about meeting the version of you that is already here.
With a little more kindness,
Bring your awareness now to the center of your chest.
Not forcing anything open,
Just noticing the space there.
The gentle movement of breath and the quiet rhythm of your heart continuing on its own.
So much of your life may ask you to evaluate yourself,
To improve,
To adjust,
To do better next time,
But for the next few minutes,
You are allowed to simply be in your own presence.
Without critique,
Without fixing,
Without pressure.
Take a slow breath in through the nose,
And a long breath out through the mouth.
Now gently notice the tone you usually use with yourself.
Not judging it,
Just noticing.
Is it supportive?
Demanding?
Tired?
Protective?
Whatever you find,
Let it be okay that it's there.
Self-love does not begin with forcing sweetness.
It begins with honest awareness.
Feel your body again.
Your weight.
Your breath.
The simple fact of you being here.
Now imagine that the part of you that has been working very hard lately could sit down beside you.
Not to explain itself.
Not to defend itself.
Just to rest.
See if you can sense this part of you.
The one who has been holding a lot.
Managing a lot.
Trying very hard to keep things together.
You don't have to fix this part.
You don't have to change it.
Just notice.
And gently,
Very gently,
Offer the same energy you might offer someone you care about deeply.
Maybe that sounds like,
I see you.
Or,
You've been carrying a lot.
Or,
Simply,
It's okay to rest.
Let the words be simple.
Let them be quiet.
Feel what happens in your body as you offer a small amount of kindness and warmth.
Maybe your chest softens.
Maybe your shoulders drop.
Maybe nothing obvious happens at all.
All of it is welcome.
Take another slow breath in.
And a long,
Easy breath out.
Self-love is not a performance.
It is a relationship built slowly.
Through moments of meeting yourself without turning away.
Notice if there is any place in the body that feels tender or tight.
Or a little guarded.
If it feels safe enough,
Bring your awareness gently to that place.
Not to fix it,
But to open it.
Not to analyze it.
Just to sit beside it with warmth.
Sit beside it like you're placing a soft hand over your own heart.
And breathing slowly.
Steadily.
You are allowed to be human here.
Allowed to be unfinished.
Allowed to be in process.
Let your belly soften.
Let the muscles around the eyes release.
Let the breath move in its own rhythm.
And quietly,
Inside yourself,
You might repeat I can meet myself here.
Nothing more complicated than that.
Stay here for a few slow breaths.
Feel the steadiness of the ground beneath you.
Feel the quiet intelligence of your body continuing to breathe.
Feel the simple dignity of being present with yourself.
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are here.
And that is enough for this moment.
Take one slightly deeper breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Begin to notice the space around you again.
The air on your skin.
The surface beneath you.
And see if you can carry even 5% more kindness towards yourself as you return.
No force.
No pressure.
Just a gentle shift in how you hold your own experience.
Take your time reorienting.
When it feels natural,
Softly open your eyes.
Or continue resting in this quiet,
Kind awareness.
You have met yourself here.
And that's all that matters.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you through this practice.
I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow.
