Grounding and releasing meditation for use anytime you need a reset. Allow yourself to utilize this meditation to help you let go of what is not your own. You can utilize it daily for good energetic hygiene.

So for this exercise,

I want you to utilize this visualization whenever you need to release anything that isn't your own.

If you've traced the origin of how you're feeling back to someone else,

It's important that you release it as soon as you can.

I like to call this visualization a cleansing meditation.

And it's not even really a meditation,

It's just a visual exercise.

And you can do this anywhere.

So you're going to start by rooting down and placing your feet firmly on the floor.

You can even be standing up to do this.

I want you to just close your eyes,

Connect with your breath,

Just take a couple of nice deep cleansing breaths.

Just really starting to sink into the moment.

And then I want you to imagine now that you have little teeny roots growing from the soles of your feet reaching out into the earth beneath you.

Really focusing on that energy of feeling connected,

Feeling grounded,

Feeling rooted and anchored in.

I want you then to imagine that the energy that you've identified that is not your own,

Start to imagine it in a tiny ball right at your solar plexus.

And you can give this ball a color.

It begins to get bigger and bigger as it pulls all of the energy,

All of that which isn't your own into itself.

And as it does this,

The ball gets brighter and brighter and lighter and lighter.

Once you've released all that energy and it's collected in that area,

I want you then to offer it to the earth through those roots in your feet.

And you can do this by imagining the ball beginning to spin.

And as it spins,

It makes its way down through your body and out through the soles of your feet.

You can imagine it pairing off into two sides so that it moves down half in one leg and half in the other and out the soles of the feet.

Or you can just imagine it leaving the body straight out of the spinal floor.

Once you've transmuted that energy,

Check in with your breath.

If you still feel heavy or tight,

You can continue to do this practice again if you need to repeat it.

But if you feel like you've cleared the energy,

Now it's time to set a boundary around yourself.

What I would invite you to do now is I would invite you to begin to become aware of the top of your head.

Start scanning your body from the tip top of the head.

And as you scan the body,

Begin to imagine a beautiful bright white shield falling down around.

As your awareness moves,

So does the shield.

Covering your energetic and your physical body,

That shield to solidify,

Crystallize all around you until you reach the soles of the feet.

This shield is a protective barrier between you and anyone else.

Setting the intention with it,

Being there that nothing can penetrate it that is not your own and it's not serving your highest and best good.

You can do this in the energy of love.

We recognize that where there is love,

There can be no fear.

So I invite you now to bring your hands to your chest right over your heart center.

The tips of your fingers,

I invite you to just tap.

And as you tap,

You can repeat this either silently or aloud.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

Where there can be only love,

There can be no fear.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

Really feeling that vibration,

The tapping just over the breastbone,

Right over your heart center,

Really connecting with that energy.

We're sealing in the beautiful crystalline shield that we've created,

Harnessing that power.

Love lives here.

Love lives here.

When you're ready,

You can release your hands and just begin to really feel the energy that you've cultivated now.

Feel it resonating out,

Strengthening that shield even more.

And anytime you start to feel that shield begin to weaken,

All you have to do is visualize.

Once again,

Scanning from the top of the head to the soles of the feet,

Begin to visualize that white shield,

Rebuilding,

Recrystallizing,

And you setting that intention.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes and come back fully into the space.

Feel free to utilize this visualization whenever you've checked in with yourself and recognize that what you're feeling is not entirely your own.
