As-salamu alaykum dear one.
Let's start by getting as comfortable as possible for this one.
Lying down or sitting if you prefer and take your time settling into place.
Now let's take a nice easy deep breath in and release.
There is nothing you need to do right now,
Nothing to accomplish,
Nothing to solve.
Let your body just rest and let the breath slow naturally.
Let the rhythm of just being here take over and start to feel the space around you soft,
Wide and gentle.
And let yourself just sink a little deeper into this moment.
You are entering a space held by one of the most beautiful names,
As-salam,
The source of peace.
As-salam is the one who is free from all imperfection,
Who holds no flaw,
Who bears no deficiency.
In As-salam there is no agitation,
No fear,
No imbalance.
Only what is whole,
What is safe,
What is still.
The peace of As-salam is not the silence of exhaustion nor the pause between demands.
It is a peace that exists beyond circumstances,
A peace that never began and never ends.
As-salam is the source of all peace,
The flawless,
The one in whom no trace of imperfection exists.
As-salam is the one who gives peace,
Not just the absence of conflict or stress,
But a deep,
Present,
Anchored stillness that no storm could shake.
This is not the peace of the world,
Fleeting,
Fragile,
Dependent.
This is the peace from the one who is perfect,
Eternal,
And whole.
Now let this peace begin to touch your breath,
Not changing it,
But just being with it.
Breath by breath,
As-salam surrounds you,
Not as an idea,
But as a reality that you can feel.
Let it move through you,
Not as something you must reach for,
But as something that has already found you.
Feel it spreading through the chest,
Into the shoulders,
Softening the back,
Loosening the jaw,
Quieting the mind.
This is not something that you are doing,
It is something that you are receiving.
It is already here,
And it always has been.
As-salam is the stillness that remains when everything else falls away,
The calm that does not depend on reasons,
The rest that does not require permission.
Let your awareness gently explore the landscape within.
What today feels unsettled,
Or what has been carried for too long?
Is there any tension inside you that longs for relief?
Without judgment,
Simply notice,
And in the noticing,
Let peace begin its quiet work.
As-salam soothes the aching parts,
It gathers the scattered,
It welcomes the parts that feel left out,
The parts that have forgotten how to rest.
This is a peace that does not push,
It simply embraces,
Softens,
And stays.
And let yourself rest even more deeply now.
No thought needs to be chased,
And no feeling needs to be fixed.
You are not outside of peace,
You are in it,
Right now.
As-salam is not fragile,
It is not easily disturbed,
And it is not temporary.
It is the nature of the flawless One who created you,
And it is your true nature reflected back to you,
Beneath every layer of noise.
You are in the presence of perfect balance,
Of sacred quiet,
Of peace that asks nothing but to be received.
Let yourself linger here,
In this wide,
Still presence.
You may find that even your breath is quieter now,
Even your thoughts less urgent,
Even your body more trusting.
As-salam is here,
Not as a moment,
But as a constant,
And you are allowed to return to this awareness of as-salam whenever you need,
Or simply whenever you remember.
