Hi,

I'm Zoe.

Today's tapping meditation will address anxiety around getting a job to help you release any limiting beliefs and help you shift towards a more confident and positive mindset.

Before we begin,

Get yourself into a comfortable position and do whatever you need to do to ground yourself.

When you're ready,

Think about your current job situation.

Rate the emotional intensity on a scale of 0 to 10,

10 being the most intense.

Jot your number down somewhere so you can check back at the end of this tapping to track your progress.

When you're ready,

Take a few deep breaths and then repeat after me.

We start by tapping on the side of the hand and then we'll continue through the sequence of tapping points from the top of the head all the way to the underarm.

So starting at the side of the hand,

Repeat after me.

Even though I feel anxious about getting a job,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I have fear and resistance around finding a job that I'll enjoy,

I choose to honour these feelings now.

Even though I feel like I'm not good enough at times,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Top of the head,

All this anxiety around finding a job.

Eyebrow point,

All this anxiety building inside me.

Side of the eye,

I'm afraid I won't find a job.

Under the eye,

Afraid I won't get hired.

Under the nose,

I'm afraid I'm not good enough.

Chin,

I can feel the fear and resistance building up inside me.

I can feel the fear and resistance building up inside me.

Collarbone,

This whole job application process is stressing me out.

Under the arm,

It's exhausting.

Top of the head,

I've convinced myself that getting a good job is hard.

Eyebrow,

That it takes a lot of effort and commitment.

Side of the eye,

And so I don't enjoy the process.

Under the eye,

I procrastinate.

Under the nose,

I'd much rather be doing anything else right now.

Chin,

And go through the stressful process of applying for jobs.

Collarbone,

It feels like I'm getting in my own way though.

Under the arm,

This belief that it's hard isn't helpful.

But it keeps holding me back.

Top of the head,

Why does it have to be so hard?

Chin,

It's stressful,

Believing that getting a good job is hard.

Collarbone,

On top of that,

I don't feel like I'm good enough for the job that I really want.

Eyebrow,

Who would want to hire me?

Side of the eye,

I can't help but doubt myself in this moment.

Under the eye,

And it's making me feel really anxious.

Take a deep breath.

And then when you're ready,

Tapping on the side of the hand again.

Side of the hand,

Even though I've been holding on to these beliefs,

Even though I've been holding on to these beliefs,

I'm open to the possibility that there could be another way.

Even though I've been telling myself it's hard,

I'm open to questioning this belief now.

Maybe,

Just maybe,

Getting a job I enjoy is possible without all this stress and anxiety.

Top of the head,

Who says it has to be hard?

Eyebrow,

What if this process could be easier than I thought?

Side of the eye,

What if getting a job I enjoy could be simple?

Under the eye,

What if I've been telling myself I'm not good enough?

I'm not good enough,

But I actually am.

Under the nose,

What if I can believe in my abilities and trust the process?

Chin,

What if I've been wrong about how hard this really is?

Collarbone,

What if I'm more than good enough to get a job I will enjoy?

Under the arm,

What if it's time to let go of all these limiting beliefs?

Take another few deep breaths,

Let it sink in.

And then when you're ready,

Tapping at the side of the hand again.

Even though I've been feeling anxious,

I now choose to let go of fear and embrace confidence.

Even though I've been holding on to stress and self-doubt,

I'm ready to let go and move forward with ease.

Top of the head,

I'm ready to let go of fear and anxiety around getting a job.

Eyebrow,

I'm ready to release any and all resistance that has been holding me back.

Side of the eye,

I choose to clear the pesky belief that I'm not good enough.

Under the eye,

I release any remaining resistance I've been holding on to.

Under the nose,

I choose to let go of fear and anxiety around getting a job.

I'm ready to feel calm,

Confident and full of ease.

Chin,

I choose to believe that I am more than good enough to get a job that I will enjoy.

Collarbone,

I believe I can find a job easily and with confidence.

Under the arm,

I am allowing the process to be easy and fast.

And again,

Take a moment,

Just take a few deep breaths.

Last short round,

You can either tap on the side of the hand or tap on your point of choice.

I trust in my ability to find a job that is right for me.

I choose to let it be easy,

Simple and joyful.

I am confident in my skills and believe that the right job is coming to me.

I release the need to control and trust that the process will unfold perfectly.

I am deserving of a job that I enjoy.

And I am ready to receive it in body,

Mind and spirit.

Deep breaths.

Notice how your body feels,

If anything's shifted,

Feeling tingling,

Yawning,

Runny nose,

Tears running down your eyes.

It's a common one for me.

It's all perfectly normal and a beautiful part of the process.

Well done for taking action today by tapping along with me.

You can repeat this tapping sequence as many times as you need.

Really allowing yourself to shift emotions and beliefs around job hunting.

I wish you all the confidence and ease in your job search.

Lots of love,

Zoe.
