Welcome to a brief guided meditation for balancing the solar plexus or the Manipura chakra.

The element associated with this chakra is fire or agni.

The color is yellow.

The beach or seed mantra is Ram.

If the chakra is overactive then we may feel anger and rage.

This may manifest in aggressive,

Manipulative and controlling behaviors towards others.

If this chakra is underactive then we may feel insecure,

Have a negative self-concept,

Feel shame,

Lack courage and it can manifest in our behaviors as passive-aggressive.

Or we may make decisions in our lives from a space of lack,

Lack of self-esteem or perhaps from unhealthy shame,

Judging and criticizing others or ourselves.

This is the shadow side of the Manipura chakra.

So the practices that bring this chakra into balance allow us to feel confident,

Capable,

Responsible,

Assertive,

Accepting of imperfections and compassionate in our relationship with ourselves and others.

So I invite you to sit cross-legged or to lie down.

Place your hands on your knees,

Palms facing upward and gently curl your ring finger and your thumb so they meet each other at the tips with a soft touch.

Allow your body and your breath to settle.

Inhale and exhale long deep breaths.

Breathe in and out.

Inhale from the nose to the lungs to the belly.

And exhale from the belly to the lungs through the nose.

Let your body become more relaxed.

Allow all the cells in your body to receive oxygen.

Revitalizing.

Exhale whatever it is that you do not need in this moment.

Imagine now that you are standing in a vast open field.

It is morning.

The sun is rising,

Crisp and clear in the morning sky.

You witness the pearly glow in the sky.

Golden yellow streams of sunlight gradually light up the scene.

You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

As you move through the fields,

Exploring nature and the melody of the birds singing,

The whispers of the trees and the birds singing,

You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

As you move through the fields,

You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

And which creates mysterious shadows.

Together they coexist in harmony,

The sunlight and the shadows.

Breathe in and out.

And gently turning your focus towards your navel.

Between your navel and your rib cage is the digestive fire or Agni.

Connect with your fire,

Affirming to yourself that you are worthy of unconditional love and belonging.

You have unlimited potential to manifest your desires.

You are a creative,

Unique being.

You are perfectly imperfect.

You are accepted for who you are.

It is okay to be different and it is okay to be you.

You may set some intentions now.

I forgive myself for my past mistakes and I learn from them.

The only thing I need to control is how I respond to situations.

I can create positive change in my life.

I am open to new ideas.

I feel calm,

Confident and powerful.

I feel ready to face challenges.

I feel my own self-esteem.

I feel motivated to pursue my dreams and purpose.

I am compassionate and capable.

I stand in my own divine power.

I honor the divine within me.

So now begin chanting the Bij Mantra Ram.

Feel the vibration in your body from the sound of the mantra.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

And exhale.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Rama Rama Rama Rama Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram And now breath in and out.

Long deep breaths,

Relax.

Move your fingers and your toes.

Notice any physical sensations in your body.

Notice any vibrations.

Start connecting with your surroundings.

Any sounds in the environment.

Notice.

Observe any smells.

The taste in your mouth.

The touch of your hands.

Feeling the softness with your eyes closed.

Breathe in and out.

And gently open your eyes.

Short session of affirmations and chanting to balance the solar plexus chakra. There is bit of background noise, but not enough to inhibit focus. Thank you for this session.
