Hello,
Welcome.
Thank you so much for being here today to share your meditation practice with me.
Wherever you are,
Go ahead and find a comfortable seated position.
Maybe that's on the floor,
In a chair,
In your car.
Wherever you are,
That is okay.
Anywhere that you can find a nice easy seat with a nice tall spine.
Relaxing the shoulders away from your ears.
Closing the lips softly and if it's comfortable for you,
Closing down the eyes or taking your gaze softly to the tip of your nose.
Starting to find your breath moving in through the nose and breathing it out through the nose.
Finding this pattern here for yourself.
Taking a moment here to check in with yourself.
Noticing the breath.
Any sensations or feelings that might be coming up in the body for you.
Tension,
Anxiety,
Joy and just sitting with them here as you breathe in and breathe out.
Together we'll find a few breaths.
Go ahead and exhale all of the air down to the bottom of your lungs.
Pausing for a moment here.
Together we take a deep full breath in,
Filling up the chest.
Pause.
Open the lips side all out.
Breathing and filling up the lungs full of air.
Pause here.
Sigh it out.
Keep moving just like this on your own.
Breathing it in.
Sighing it out and really giving yourself permission to let go.
Let go of any negative thoughts,
Fears or doubts that are holding you back as you head into this new day.
Sighing them out,
Opening your lips and releasing them physically out of your body.
And after your next round,
Resealing off the lips,
Finding your breath in and out through the nose.
Taking a moment here to notice how you feel after taking this time for yourself.
Feeling grateful that you showed up for yourself today.
You didn't have to but you did.
You chose to begin this day with bliss.
Taking this feeling with you into the rest of your day and I look forward to meditating again with you soon.
