Hi,
I'm Salide.
This is a short practice for moments when everything feels like a lot.
There's nothing to fix here.
This is just a space to pause,
Breathe,
And set some things down.
Before we begin,
Just a gentle note,
This practice is best received when you're able to be still.
So if you can.
Allow yourself to settle.
And when you're ready,
You might softly close your eyes.
This is a space where you don't have to hold it all together.
There's nothing here.
That needs to be solved.
Nothing needs to be pushed through.
There's nothing that needs to be fixed right now.
Nothing you need to figure out.
It's simply an invitation to set some things down.
Enlighten the load.
Let's take a moment to arrive.
Just as you are.
If it feels good,
You might notice your shoulders.
Give them permission to drop.
Even if it's just a little.
You might take a slow breath in.
Letting it go.
And if a deeper breath doesn't feel right.
And stay with the breath.
You already have.
Just notice how you're currently breathing.
No judgment,
Just noticing.
I'll be guiding you.
These next few minutes,
But feel free to make this your own practice.
There's no wrong or right way to be here.
You may begin to notice.
That you've been carrying.
The visible things.
The invisible things,
The expectations,
The urgency.
The weight of showing up.
And gently you might ask yourself.
What,
If anything,
Am I willing to set down?
Just for this moment.
Not forever,
Not all at once.
Just a small release.
You might imagine placing something beside you.
Letting it rest there.
Instead of inside you.
Or you might quietly name it.
Not right now.
You are allowed to not carry everything.
You are allowed to pause.
Without feeling like you're falling behind.
You are allowed.
To be supported.
Notice the ground beneath you.
The chair holding you.
Or simply your own presence.
You're being held.
And if it feels right,
You might place a hand somewhere on your body.
Your chest,
Your belly.
Or both.
Feel the warmth.
The steadiness.
The rising and falling as you breathe in.
And you exhale.
You might also choose stillness without touch.
Again,
You get to choose.
If your mind wanders,
Allow it.
If your body feels restless.
Let it be.
There's nothing here that needs to be controlled.
This moment is not asking you to perform.
Only to notice.
And perhaps soften.
And if there's even the smallest exhale of relief.
You can let that be enough.
As you begin to return,
Take your time.
You don't have to pick everything back up right away.
Maybe you carry less.
Maybe you'll carry it differently.
Or maybe you'll simply remember.
You have a choice.
And for now.
.
.
That is enough.
Thank you for practicing with me.
And for sharing this space together.
Until next time.
