Inviting you to find a comfortable position and closing down the eyes.
Noticing how it feels to close down the eyes,
To tune in inwardly.
Knowing that right now there is no action you need to take.
There is nothing to decide on,
There is nothing to ruminate about.
Simply allowing yourself to be here in this moment.
And I invite you to let go of the idea that this is a meditation.
This is very simple,
This is simply an invitation to sit with what is.
Not to try and change or move anything.
An invitation to simply be.
Noticing what may have brought you to this space.
The reasons potentially for putting aside this time to be with yourself and inviting you to let these go.
And inviting you to let go of any outcome that is potentially desired through this practice.
This is very simple,
Sitting with oneself.
Letting go of any ideas about what it means to meditate.
There is no need for these ideas in this moment.
Simply being.
If the mind wanders,
If thoughts are loud,
This is okay.
Just greeting them and acknowledging them as a friendly stranger passing by in the street.
There is no need to stop and engage,
But simply just to smile,
To nod and to allow them to pass on by.
There is no force required.
This is a space to simply be with whatever is in this moment.
There's nothing to intellectually grapple with.
Notice any urge to hold on to an idea of what is happening,
Of any expectations of what you should be feeling.
There is no need for this.
There is no right or wrong way to be in this moment.
Noticing the body's posture.
Noticing any urge to label,
To label thoughts,
To label sounds.
And inviting you to tune into this moment as if you did not know a language.
As if you did not need to think in words.
To be without describing what is.
There are no concepts here to attach to.
There is no need for visualization in this moment.
There is nothing to visualize.
Simply experiencing this moment.
There is no need to decide what is happening in this moment.
Notice any urge to make intellectual sense of what is happening.
To try and get somewhere.
To try and be someone.
To try and do something.
There is no need for this in this moment.
There is no need for spiritual imagination.
No need for beliefs or identity in this moment.
Going beyond language.
Going beyond ideas.
Noticing your experience between the gaps of these words.
And in a moment I'm going to invite you to take a few deep breaths and open the eyes.
But before doing so,
Noticing that this awareness,
That this space of feeling,
Is not bound by having the eyes closed or open.
Notice the urge to switch off once the eyes open.
To leave behind this awareness.
And inviting you to know that when the eyes open,
This practice can continue.
And just allowing yourself to soften.
There is no pressure here.
There is no right or wrong.
This is an incredibly simple practice of awareness.
To be in the space of what is.
To simply be.
Inviting you now to take three full deep breaths.
And on the third and final exhale,
Inviting you to open the eyes.
