Today's practice,
The three cords of love.
A very special visualization designed to help you shift your mindset from a place of lack to a place of abundance.
I encourage you to come back to this practice often and with consistency and especially when the love you seek feels impossible or far away.
In order to call in the greater love we seek,
We must acknowledge the love that already exists within and around us.
This is what it means to live in love abundance.
Let's begin.
Start by preparing your physical form.
Find a sustainable upright position.
Get comfortable.
We're going to let the body lead the mind.
If you're able to close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths,
Expanding your belly.
Let your breath wash through your body,
Dislodging any stuck or gripping parts,
Bringing back movement,
Vitality.
Slow down your exhale.
Take it longer than your inhale.
One more deep breath in and relax,
Finding your resting breath,
Using your interoception,
Your ability to perceive and feel inwardly.
Locate your spine.
Make a few small movements to say hello.
Wake it up.
This is your main channel of energy and support.
Take a deep breath and light it up.
Now imagine a golden cord made of light anchored to your tailbone.
Find its loose end and attach it to the top of your crown.
Now bring to mind a time when someone showed you love.
Recall the sensation of receiving that loving act.
Now take a deep breath,
Lighting up the cord,
Making it glow even brighter,
Expanding its light.
Repeat to yourself,
I am loved.
Imagine a second cord anchored to your tailbone.
Attach its loose end to the top of your crown.
Now bring to mind a time when you felt or showed love to another,
A cherished loved one or even an animal friend.
The ability to generate love is a powerful gift we all possess.
Its effect ripples out across space and time.
Take a deep breath to light up the second cord.
Repeat to yourself,
I can love.
Now imagine a third and final cord anchored to your tailbone.
Attach the loose end to the top of your crown.
Now bring to mind a time when you felt thankful,
When you were overcome with gratitude for a blessing or support received.
Put a breath in this final cord,
Expanding its light.
Repeat to yourself,
I am grateful.
Now begin to braid your three cords of light together.
I am loved.
I can love.
I am grateful.
When you finish,
Breathe deeply,
Lighting up the braid,
Strengthening it.
This will be your anchor and unwavering core to hold onto in times of turbulence,
When the winds of change come sweeping through your life.
Come back to this.
I am loved.
I can love.
I am grateful.
Take your time coming up.
